They enter the dining hall, and most tables were full. Hange leads Adira to the table in the middle and pushes her to sit.

"I'll grab us some lunch. You just sit and make friends." She walks away leaving Adira alone at the table. She looks around the room and notices the few people glancing at her. How was she supposed to make friends? She kept her hands in her lap and waited patiently for Hange to return.

"I'm back!" Exclaims Hange from beside her, sitting down beside at the table. Erwin comes up and sits across from the two with his lunch.

"You haven't met him yet, he's probably cleaning right now but-" Hange gets cut off from another voice coming from beside them. A man with dark hair came up and sat beside Erwin with a cup of tea.

"I can introduce myself shitty eyes." He says taking a sip of his tea in a strange way. "Levi." He says after. Adira watches him drink and he frowns at her.

"What are you looking at, brat?" He grumbles.

Adira looks away from him and at the soup that sat in front of her. "Your peculiar way of drinking tea," She says.

Hange snorts out her tea back into her cup and Erwin smirks behind his hand.

"And who the hell are you?" He was even more pissed off than he was before. The stupid girl in front of him was just like the rest of the people in the room, idiots.

"Adira Belmont." She replies while taking a bite out of her bread.

Levi rolls his eyes and gets's up to leave. Erwin and Hange watch him leave but Adira was looking out the windows.

"After lunch, it's training. We'll see if you still are as good." Erwin says looking up at her.

"Understood Commander." She responds.

"And then we can introduce you to all the people here. They must be wondering who you are." Hange tells her while fixing her glasses. "And then I can show you my experiments!" She cries out while Adira watches her gulp down her soup.

Adira wasn't the best when it came to her emotions, she would bury them deep down and try to forget about them. But she was even worse at making friends, she usually ended up scaring them off or they just got bored. She was lucky with the few friends she had, but she hasn't seen them in forever.

After lunch, everyone headed towards the training field. Adira stood beside Erwin at the front as people began to team up and spar. She didn't know what to do, so she waited for an order beside Erwin.

"Are you new here?" Asks a voice. Adira turned her head and saw a petit girl beside her. Her orange hair was whipping around in the air as she waited with a smile. The girl seemed nice so Adira gave a small smile back.

"Kind of. Adira." Adira holds out her hand and she grabs her hand and shakes it.

"I'm Petra Ral." She points to three other men following behind her towards where they were standing. "The old man is Oluo, the blond one is Eld, and the other is Gunther." They all give Adira a small smile to be polite and stood beside Petra.

"We're all apart of Levi's Special Operations Squad." Adira didn't really know what to say. Cool? She decides against it and plays with her hands.

"Oh, so you guys are really good then," Adira says. The older one, Oluo laughs and stares intensely at Adira. "Of course, we are." Adira blinks. Was he trying to be intimidating?

Erwin turns towards Petra. "Petra, why don't you go spar Adira. I would like you all to see her skill." He says glancing towards Adira.

"My time away hasn't affected my skills in combat and fighting, Sir." She tells him. She made sure that her time away wouldn't affect her combat skills. She would train every day to make sure she was perfect using her gear and in combat.

"I know it hasn't Adira. I also want the other cadets to see what they're up against." Adira nods and heads towards the centre of the field with Petra beside her. Many people around them stopped to watch them fight. Adira and Petra stood face to face in their stances. Adira had her hands up in front of her face while Petra had them closer towards her chest. That left her face and neck unprotected and would be an easy spot to hit.

Petra ran towards Adira with her right fist out ready to punch. Adira stepped to her left, ending up almost behind Petra while dodging her punch. She swiped her foot out to make Petra lose her balance while the other hand came around Petra's neck and flipped her on the ground. Petra tried to get up as quickly as she fell but Adira put her foot against her chest and pushed her back onto the ground. She looked over to Erwin to see if he wanted her to finish it. He nods and she kicks her foot out at her head. Petra laid on the ground limp and unconscious.
