The sun was blinding, and the sound of birds could be heard throughout the camp. The sky was void of any clouds, leaving a bright vibrant blue in its wake. If one were to listen closely, one could hear the trees moving in the wind as they roamed the grounds doing assigned tasks.

Mia gently pried open Adira's door and walked over to the bed. Adira slept in, as she didn't need to get up and do her duties that early in the morning. Mia looked down at Adira's sleeping figure and hesitated to wake her up. Her captain looked peaceful in her sleep and she didn't want to ruin that. But orders were orders from Erwin, so she gently shook her shoulders.

"Adira, you need to wake up now," Mia said softly. Adira groaned in annoyance but pried her eyes open and stretched her muscles. She looked outside and back to Mia. "It's around ten right now," Mia says, answering her unsaid question. Adira blinks, rubbing the tiredness out of her eyes and throwing off the covers.

"Thank you, Mia. I'll be out in a few minutes." She tells her. Mia gives her a bright smile and walks out into the hallway, the sound of her footsteps long gone in the crowd of others in the corridor.

She groggily puts on her customary uniform and pulls her hair up into a pony. Walking out of her room, she walks down the hallways until she reaches the training grounds where cadets stood, cleaning their gear.

Adira catches Levi's eye, and they nod at each other in greeting. She walks over to her squad which were sitting on the ground cleaning out their ODM gear.

"Hello, everyone." She greets standing next to Nyla who was laying on her back with her hands behind her head. Nash grunts, saying hello in his own way while the others say good morning. "I'm going to check out the others to make sure they're doing all good. I'll be back later to do mine." She tells them before walking off in the other direction.

Walking around watching the cadets clean, she stops in front of a boy named Cole who seemed to be struggling to get inside the tiny parts of the gear. Kneeling down, she grabs another cloth and shows him how to do it properly. Cole's eyes light up and thanks her with a huge smile. After around ten minutes of walking around helping others, she walks to the area where everyone's gear is stored.

Walking in, she walks over to her gear and pulls it close to her body, examining it. Her gear was spotless. She hasn't had the time to clean it yet, so it must have been one from her squad that did it.

"Thank you, whoever cleaned my gear for me." Adira thanks her squad. They all gave her confused looks and shook their heads. Nyla piped up from her spot.

"Nah., We didn't do anything." She replies. "We've been here the whole time, we are still finishing ours." Adira's eyes widened in surprise but didn't bring it up any further with them. She wipes the dirt off of her pants and walks back to the area where the cadets were situated.

She walks back to the open field and stands next to Hange who was talking to Moblit, pointing to details on a sketch he was making.

"Already done?" She asks fixing her glasses while making eye contact with Adira.

"My gear was already clean." She teller her and Hange's eyes light up in excitement.

"Oh really?" She asks with a huge smirk plastered across her face. Hange nudges Moblit and whispers something about a bet and turns back to Adira. "Do you know who cleaned it?" Adira shakes her head no and Hange chuckles maniacally while elbowing Moblit.

"It's a huge mystery, huh." Hange drawls with grinning at Adira.

"Not really. I'll just ask around and thank them later." Adira replies with a straight face.

"Aw, come on! You're not even the slightest bit eager to know who it was?" She asks. Adira looks around at the people around her. Levi and Erwin stood in the middle watching over everyone making sure they did it properly. "No."

"Man, you suck." Hange whines. Hange looks past Adira and over to Levi who was looking over in their direction. "Shouldn't you be bringing Levi his tea?" Adira glances over to Hange with suspicion.

"How do you know about that?" Hange gives an innocent face and shrugs her shoulders.

"I don't know." Hange snickers. Moblit gives Adira a weak smile and gently drags Hange away. Adira watches as they walk away and walks to the kitchen to make his tea. Grabbing tea leaves and hot water, she pours it into a teacup and walks down the hallways to Levi's office. She had seen him leave earlier when she was talking to Hange and assumed that he was cooped up in his office doing paperwork.

She knocks on the door and moves her arm to twist the knob of the door. Walking forward, the door was already opening from the other side making Adira bumps into Levi.
