It was a Friday night, and instead of going out on the town with your room mate, you decided to stay home and chill. So you dressed in your comfiest sweat pants and hoodie, threw your hair up in a bun, and got comfortable on the couch while scrolling through Netflix and waiting on the popcorn to finish when suddenly your phone buzzed.

From Aaron: Hey you home?

Frowning, you replied.
To Aaron: yeah, what's up?

From Aaron: No plans and wanted to see you is all. 😁

You now had a faint smile on your face from giggling as you texted back. To Aaron: Come over? I'm just watching movies

From Aaron: On my way. Give me 15

That faint smile you had, had grown to become a full ear-to-ear grin at the thought of your best guy friend and secret crush for ages showing up in less than 15 minutes.

Minutes later, the doorbell had rung and Aaron strolled in with a pizza to share. As you ate, you grew more antsy looking at him knowing you just had to tell him tonight and get it over with.

"(Y/N), are you okay?" He pondered feeling your cheeks which had grown pink. "You look a bit flushed."

"A-Aaron, I have to tell you something and I want you to take me seriously. No funny business, okay?" You said as you stood in front of him and played with your thumbs.

He put his left hand on your arm and used his right hand to pull your chin up so he could look into your beautiful eyes. "(Y/N), it's just me. It's okay, just calm down and breathe. Whatever you have to tell me will not change the way I think of you." He smiled gently.

"Yeah, that's what I was afraid of..." You whispered ducking down again quickly hoping he hadn't heard you.
"What? (Y/N), are you okay?"

"No Aaron," you screamed. "I'm not. I think I may be in love with you, and I've tried to stop it, thinking that maybe it's just because of how close we've always been, but I can't! I just can't! You possess my thoughts all hours of the day and it hits the hardest after I watch you leave to go home or when I'm wide awake laying in bed wishing you were here to cuddle me and talk to me about your perspective on life! And I'm sorry, I felt like you needed to know soon because I don't know if I could deal with it any longer. So there! I said it! I love you and everything about you Aaron Carpenter! What are you gonna do about that?!"

"What am I gonna do about that?!" He yelled, "You wanna know how I'm gonna deal with that?!?!"

"YEAH, I DO!"

"I'M GONNA KISS YOU IS WHAT IM GONNA DO, GET OVER HERE!" He yelled, before hoisting your body into his arms and kissing you hard.
