**Charlie's POV**
I was talking with Bill, Fred, and George when suddenly I could sense Laurens pain increase. I had just excused myself from my conversation to go make sure Laur was okay, but when I turned around she was already make her way towards the fire place.
Thankfully I was able to hear where she floo to so I could follow her but when I got stepped inside her living room she was no where to be found.

I wasn't to familiar with muggle London but thanks to our connection I knew I'd be able to find just like I did when Nick attacked her in the forbidden forest.
Just as I was about to step out the door though, my gut told me that she needed some time to herself and that she'd come back her when she was ready. So I decided not go after her but that didn't stop me from feeling anxious with worry. I new she was still in some pain from the surgery and could only hope that she had a pain potion with her.

To try and take my mind off where she could have ended up, I took the time to explore her childhood home.
Wondering through her house brought me a sense of comfort knowing that a piece of her was in that house. I was also sad knowing that loving family that raised her was no longer here to see what an amazing lady she had become. I couldn't even begin to imagine what losing her parents was like with no other family.
I then realized why family threw that impromptu party for her today. Take make her loved and appreciated because even the strongest of people need to be reminded of that every once and awhile.

Once I had made my way throughout the house I tried to sit on the couch and wait for Laur but I got more and frustrated with the giant muggle picture box that Lauren calls a tv because I couldn't get it to turn on. So I resorted to pacing the floor instead.

It had been two hours since I arrived at Laurens house and I was more nervous about where she could be now than I was when I arrived.
Just as I decided that I would leave to take a short walk around the neighborhood looking for her, she walked in threw the door and right into my arms.

As soon as she was in my embrace I felt her let out a small sob. "Shhh, shhh it's okay love. Everything is alright my love" I whispered to her softly, rubbing small gentle circles on her back.

"Cha.. charlie I'm su su sorry I ran off. I just couldn't be there anymore. My stomach was starting to hurt and then your mom kept going on and on about wedding plans and grandchild and I just got so overwhelmed and I"
"Hey hey, Laur calm down. Talk a deep breath and slow down for a second please." I couldn't help but let out a small laugh because she was so cute just rambling on.
"Oops sorry" she apologized and immediately a blush flushed across her cheeks.
"Let's take a seat and we can talk alright."

"I'm sorry I had no idea they were planning any of that, and if I had I would have stoped them. I knew how exhausted you were leaving St. Mungo's. I should have told them to leave" I told her.
"No it's not your fault, I've never liked the attention. Stems from a bad experience I had as I kid. Then Emily said those nice things about me, and despite my better judgment from being tired and overwhelmed I didn't have the energy to fight Gin on making everyone leave." She chuckled.
"The by the time I had got around to speaking with your mum, she was talking about starting wedding planning since we hadn't been able to do that and how excited she is for grandchildren. I just snapped Char."
She looked at me with such pain in her eyes and I didn't know how to fix any of it right now. So I pulled her into me and we just laid in silence for a few moments.

"With everything going on with all the attacks, and my memory loss, I completely forgot in all of this that we have to be married for this stupid law until your mum brought it up" she spoke quietly to me.
"Listen to me Lo, there is no rush to do anything you understand. I don't care what Kingsley has to say, after everything you've been through this past year you deserve to take things at your own pace. I won't let him rob you of any more of your own decisions, I promise you okay."
"Thank you Char, but I just don't think that's how this works" she sighed. "Unless you forgot were supposed to be married by May and with child within six months of that."
"Not if I can help it. I've been doing a lot of research with Bill lately and while we haven't found a way out of actually getting married, we do have plenty of evidence that prevents him from setting timelines for when these marriages and children have to happen by."
"Your saying you do want to marry then?" She asked me so seriously and when she looked at me, my heart sunk. That's not what I met at all. I am so completely in love her, I'd do everything in my power to make she gets everything she deserves.

Suddenly she was laughing, she was laughing so hard I thought she'd fall right off my lap on the floor. That's when I realized she was joking, and a smile broke out onto face.
We just laughed together and for the first time in a long time, I was truly happy. I had a fantastic family, and gorgeous and loving fiencé and we no longer had the threat of crazy ex boyfriends to worry about. Life was good and it was only going to get better. As long as I have Lauren by my side we could get threw anything together.
