**Ginnys POV**
Today we could all finally breath a sigh of relief. Nick is finally gone, he could no longer bring any harm to our dear Lauren. It finally felt like the puzzle pieces were falling into place just how they were always meant to.

Lauren should be back here any minute now and to say I was excited was an understatement. I've missed my best friend so much, and I could tell that not having her around and always in danger was really starting to take its toll on all of us. She is the magic puzzle piece that truly kept our odd friend group pairing together.

Lauren isn't just everyone's friend, she is our sister and we'd do anything to protect her. After all she's suffered the most out of all us after the war, but today, today is her first day reclaiming normalcy and the happiness that she deserves.

"Ginny your shaking, you need to calm down a little love" Harry said wrapping his arms around me. "I know, I'm sorry. It's just that I'm so excited to have Lauren back with us I can't help it" I squealed in excitement.

"She's going to take one look at all your excitement Gin, and go running before you can't squeeze her to death" George joked as he came into the room.

"Correction she's going to hate all of after she see's what we have planned or her today. She hates attention, I don't know why any of us thought this would be a good idea" said Hermione letting out a small chuckle.

"Ya Minoe's right, we should be getting the party for being such great friends" Ron snickered. Thank goodness Pansy was sitting on his lap and slapped him lightly across the chest. Trying to get him to understand that was not the right thing to say.

"Ronald that is absolutely not the point of today" Pansy hissed. "Today is about letting Lauren know that we all love her, and would do anything to make sure she's okay. After all she risked her life to keep us all safe" she added.

"Today I just want Lo to feel how loved and appreciated she is by everyone. After talking with Charlie the other day, I didn't realize how much Lauren was holding back from us and how much pain she's in after everything she's been through.
We all take Lauren for granted sometimes. She's always there when any of us need a someone to talk to or even just to listen without judgment" I added pointedly.

No one had much more to say after that. "Right, well then" I spoke. "We have a lot to do to finish up before Lauren and Charlie are due back. Let's not waste anymore time then." and after a few moments of silence I turned into my mother and started dictating tasks for everyone.

**Laurens POV**
The sun was shining through my window when I woke up in the morning and unfortunately for me Charlie was also missing.  My bad mood didn't last long though because Healed Cassie came in not two minutes later.

"Oh good you're up! how are you feeling this morning?" Healer Cassie asked as she started with her usual routine every time she came in to check on me.

"Much better than the last two days. I finally don't feel like a walking zombie" I told her letting out a short laugh. "Although my side is still a bit sore" I added.

"That's pretty normal after surgery. After a week or so you'll hardly even remember that anything even hurt." She told me softly.
"Oh! I should have told you when I came in, I passed Charlie on my rounds. He wanted me to let you know he went home for a quick shower and to grab you some fresh clothes. He'll bring breakfast back up for you too."

"Thank you Cassie" I told her with a small smile.

"Head Healer Ethan should be in shortly to do one last check up on you. So long as nothing changes between now and then I'd say you'll be out of here by this afternoon" Cassie told me, sending a small smile my way.
