I walked into Gin and I's shared room and quickly changed into my favorite pair of high waisted army green paper bag shorts, a simple cream colored sleeveless blouse and my favorite pair of scrappy brown sandals and quickly swiped on some mascara, as it was the only make-up product I wore faithfully.
I did a once over in the mirror and deemed my outfit expectable, I grabbed my brown leather crossbody bag and headed for the stairs. When I reached the bottom stair, I noticed Charlie already there waiting for me.
"Ready to go love?" I blushed slightly at the nickname he used, but let out a quick "yep" in response.
"I'll apparate, us there since I know where we're going" I told him.
Charlie just nodded his head in agreement, so I reached out my hand for him to take but instead of grabbing it he pulled me in close to his chest.
I was thankful that he couldn't see the blush that crept on my cheeks. I seemed to be doing a lot of that around him.I didn't question his action, instead jut apparating us where we were going. Within second we were standing in front of my favorite coffee shop Workshop Coffee (A/N: I've never been to London or this coffee shop. I just googled coffee shops in London and this one came up & looked cute).
Once we ordered, got our drinks, and argued over who was paying (he wanted to pay but I had the Muggle money so ha I win) we found a table in the corner by the window, my favorite seat in the cafe because you could see the bustle of the city.
Once we sat, it surprisingly didn't take long for conversation to start flowing. Charlie dove right into stories about his time at Hogwarts and his job back in Romania. I could have sat there for hours listening to him talk about his job and his love for those dragons. There is nothing more attractive to me than a man who's passionate about what he's doing.

**Charlie's POV**
I was just in awe of her, they way she talked about her time at Hogwarts, to even admitting she was a little scared to be going back for her final year.
I don't blame her, if I had to go back to that school after seeing classmates and her mother die there I would be scared to go back and open all those newly healed wounds.
They way she talked about her parents, while she was smiling as she recalled some of her most cherished memories with them. I could see the pain in her eyes just thinking about them.
Lauren was absolutely mesmerizing in every way. From her long brown hair, to her deep brown eyes. I couldn't take my eyes off of her, she was beautiful in every sense.
She looked so grown up from the first time I met her at the Quidditch World Cup. I knew she was special to my family, and I knew the first time I met her that she was special, but wow I couldn't believe I was the lucky man that would marry her. It was in that moment, that I was listening to Lauren speak, that I realized I was falling for her. I was briefly lost in my thoughts, when I heard her address me. "Charlie I have to tell you something."
It was the way she said it that made me uneasy. Her tone had change from one of calmness to shaky and nervous. "What is it love?" I tried to soften my expression to convey that what ever she had to say it would be okay. She let out another shaky breath, and what she said next, nothing could have prepared me for it.

**Laurens POV**
Charlie and I had been sitting in the café for hours, talking about anything and very thing at this point. There was something about just being in Charlie's presence that made me feel relaxed. I felt like I could tell him anything, and that's when my mouth worked faster than my brain and I just blurted out, "Charlie there's something I have to tell you."
It was like my mouth was speaking without thinking. I didn't think I would would be telling him this so soon, but I knew in my heart that if this marriage was going to work it was best I told him sooner rather than later.
I knew that I could trust him, but I wasn't ready for his pity either. It's why I had begged the Weasleys not to send word to him when it happened and for the first time since we've been here I was suddenly very uncomfortable and nervous around him. I wasn't sure how he was going to react to what I was about to tell him.
I could see him looking at me with confusion at my sudden nervousness but there was also a hit of something else I couldn't place. I knew I had to tell him, I wanted our relationship to start off on the right foot. I didn't want to keep secrets from him but I also knew what I was about to tell him could potentially change everything.
After a long moment of silence so I could collect my thoughts, I let out a shaky breath before speaking. "Char, I want to be honest with you right from the start. I don't want any secrets between us" I said to him. "I know you were surprised to learn that I haven't really dated before, and I want you to know why" I pause just briefly, but not long enough for Charlie to interject. I was embarrassed and couldn't bring myself to look him in the eyes. So instead I kept my eyes on my coffee cup the entire time I spoke.
