**Lauren's POV**
  I spent almost 2 hours getting ready, but in the end I decided on a simple open-toed nude heal with a thin strap around the ankle for shoes, and I added a simple layered gold chin necklace around my neck and some gold diamond stud earrings for jewelry.
  I kept my makeup simple as well, typically I'll only wear mascara but tonight I used a tinted moisturizer to even everything out, a little blush and highlight, and added a pinky-nude lipstick to my lips just for a little extra color.
  I keep my hair down but pulled back very loosely and added in a little wave to give it some dimension.
  After taking one final look in the mirror and deciding I was happy with how I looked. I threw my wand into my purse and headed to use the floo.

I was stilly pretty annoyed that I hadn't seen any of my friends today. I didn't care that they didn't want to hang out but they could have at least told me they made different plans.
I decided as I walked down the stairs that just to prove my annoyance with them, that I would not engage in conversation until an apology had been made.
As I neared the floo, I gathered some floo powder into my hands and a bit aggressively yelled "the borrow" as I threw the floo powder down.

My annoyance with everyone today only grew when I stepped out of the fireplace and noticed that Charlie was not their to great me like he promised.
Slowly it dawned on me that not only was Charlie missing but so was everyone else. I knew they couldn't have gone far because the kitchen still smelled like freshly baked baked goods.
"CHARLIE?! GINNY?! ANYONE?!" I yelled as I made my through the main floor of the Burrow. My annoyance was slowly growing to anger. Whatever game everyone was playing was most definitely not funny.
Just as I was about to turn around to go back to Hogwarts to change and spend the night in sweats and read a book, a shadow standing just outside caught my eye.
My heart immediately dropped to my stomach, my mind going right to worse case scenario. A bad side effect from the war.
I couldn't believe I had been so stupid, I spent all day being mad at friends when they could have been in trouble this entire time.
I slowly made my way to the backyard with my wand drawn.
  As I followed where I had seen the shadowed figure go, I was met with path lit by candles. The path was so long I couldn't make out what was waiting at the end.
As I step up to the path to follow it, I was greeted by Percy and Louisa. "PERCY WEASLEY, what in the bloody hell is going on! You had me scared half to death when I saw your shadow" I angrily yelled at him.
  "Sorry Laur, didn't mean to scare you. We just needed to get you outside." Percy told me like it was completely normal to be hanging around out in the dark.
  Before I could say anything else, Louisa stepped up to my side and silently handed me a beautiful pink rose. Then she and Percy link their arms in mine and started leading me down the lantern lit path.
  After walking about 20 yards with Percy and Louisa, George and Angelina stepped into the light and Angelina hand me another pink rose just as Louisa had.
The pattern continued with Fred and Emily, Blaise and Luna, Ron and Pansy, Draco and Hermione, Ginny and Harry, and lastly Fluer and Bill.
By the time I had gotten to Bill and Fluer, my mind was spinning and I felt like I was going to be sick.
  I had gone through way to many emotions today and I didn't know just how many more I'd be going through in just a few seconds.

"Bill" I cried, my voice shaky and uneven. "What's going on, why isn't anyone saying anything?" I tried to ask but he didn't say anything.
After walking in silence for a few more seconds, we rounded a corner and their standing under an arch of the same pink roses I'd just been given was Charlie in gray dress robes. Surrounded by more lanterns and fairy lights.
Bill, Fluer and I had stoped walking. Although I think that was more doing. As soon as I saw Charlie, my feet stoped working.
  I saw Charlie making his way towards me but I could barley comprehend what was happening.
It was only when I heard Bill faintly whisper "you deserve this" as he planted a quick but reassuring kiss to the top of my head before stepping back into the showdown with Fleur.
  It wasn't until Charlie was standing a few feet away and the empty feeling from Bill and Fleur leaving my side did I comprehend what was about to happen.

"Hello love"  Charlie mumble as he approached me, grabbing my two hands in his.
  "Hi Chad" I mumbled back.
  We just stood there for a few seconds in silence starting at one another. It was in the this moment that I almost felt like I could feel his every emotion.
  Before I could say anything, Charlie pulled me back along towards the rose arch way. When we were standing under it, Charlie bent to lean his forehead against mine.

  "I'm sorry about today, I know you were probably very upset with all of us for bailing on you but I wanted to make tonight perfect because you deserve it." Charlie whispered to me.
  "From the moment I met you, I knew you were something special. I always felt this connection to you, an overwhelming desire to keep you safe but I didn't know what it meant back then. It wasn't until Shacklbots absurd law did I realize what these feelings really were.
  I think I'm luckiest bloke to ever exists to end up with someone like you; so beautiful, smart, athletic, curious, adventurous, loving. I could go on but we'd be here for hours.
  I love you Lauren, with my entire heart and then some. I wish it hadn't taken some stupid law to bring us together like this but in way I'm glad it did because I don't know if I ever would have realized it without it.
  We may have come together because a law forced to, but today and very day going forward I want to prove to you that I love you with everything that I have, if you'll let me.
  Will you marry Lo?"

  Tears were running down my face. I was so in love with Charlie Weasley that it took all my strength to let him finish his speech.
  Once he was done I couldn't hold back any longer.
  "YES! A million times yes Charlie Weasley!"
  I jumped into his arms and kissed him like my life depended on it.
