Blessing in Disguise

Excuse me but I'm marrying who?

**The day of the letters**
  Ginny and I were sat in her room anxiously awaiting Mrs. Weasley to call us down stairs signaling the arrival of our Marriage Law letters that would seal our fate for life.
  "So, any guess on who you may end up with" Gin suddenly blurted out. I could tell by her tone she had been anxious to ask that particular question.
  I sighed and looked at her. "Truthfully Gin, I have no bloody idea. Every time I try and picture my future I can't picture the man I'm supposed to spend the rest of life with."
  "We'll maybe you just haven't meet them yet."
  "I guess that would be okay... but given the time line we're supposed to do this in, it will be extremely awkward doing... well... you know things with someone I hardly know" I stated sheepishly.
  "Oh Laur! What ever are we going to do with you"Ginny laughed out loud.
  I tried to be mad at her but I just couldn't be and soon joined in on her laughter.
  "Enough about my perspective suitor Gin. While my future be very unknown, I know your's has been sealed since day one" I teased.
  "Oh ya, and what makes you so sure about that" she huffed.
  "Gin it doesn't take a blind bat to see what you and Harry have is real deal true love. You to actually make me quite sick with how loved up you are" I said while proceeding to fake gag.
  "Oh hush, at least Harry and I aren't ashamed to be in love. It's Draco and Hermione you should be worried about. Those two like it each other and are to bloody stubborn to admit it, but you could cut that sexual tension with knife."
  "Trust me Gin, while I may have a pathetic love life, I have given lots of thought towards the fate of the rest of this household. Actually I'm so positive in the choices I've made for everyone I'd be willing to put gallons on it" I stated smugly.
  "Oh I'm dying to here your thoughts" she said excitedly, suddenly giddy with energy. No one could possibly be able to get all my brothers and our friends love life's perfectly matched up, unless they were involved in helping the ministry." Letting out a small chuckle to let me know she was only joking but raised an eyebrow in my direction none the less just to test her theory.
  I just laughed at her while throwing a notebook at her which contain my notes and thoughts about possible parings.
  "Whoo" Gin exclaimed! "You weren't kidding about having everyone mapped out."
  "What can I say, I've had a lot of time on my hands to think these days. Not wanting to think about my future, I thought it would be more fun to do everyone else's" I shrugged.
  "Besides I'm good at observing people, and I picked up on a sign or two while we were at Hogwarts."

** Lauren's notebook parings**
Harry- Ginny (true love, you'd have to be dead to not see it)

Ron- Pansy (Truthfully not sure how this one would workout... it would mostly be funny since they haven't said boo to one another since we all started hanging out)

Draco- Hermione (Sexual tension is HIGH, both to proud to even admit their true feelings even after this bloody war)

Blaise- Luna (That boy is tough on the outside but a total softie in the inside. Luna will have him wrapped around his finger before they even say I do.)

Percy- Louisa Alcot (Gryffindor in F&G year, major crush on Percy. Quiet and sweet and the only person that may be able to bring his big ego down a few pegs that's for sure)

Fred- Emily Stone (That boy has been smitten with her since she single handedly saved his life during the battle)

George- Angelina Johnson (Destined from the day that George purposely sent a buldger her way after she called him immature and childish during a quidditch match)

Bill- Already is married to Fleur that lucky fool.

  "I gotta say Laur, you've definitely given this a lot of thought. I'll be impressed if you've gotten even half these all right."
I gave Gin a smug look satisfied that she approved of my choices.
"There's just one person you left out" she simply stated. I knew who she was talking about before she even spoke his name.
  A light blush quickly covered my features but I hoped she wouldn't notice.
"What about Charlie?" I rolled my eyes at her.
  "Honestly Ginny, your brothers are like my brothers but Charlie's the only one I don't really know. It's not like we went to school with him and he spends all his time in Romania. I didn't think that he need count towards my gamble" I stated simply.
"You did meet that one time at the Quidditch World Cup!" She exclaimed suddenly after a brief silence "and when Fred was in the hospital she pointed out."
"Yes Gin, and in both those brief interactions it left me plenty of time to ponder his potential love life I spat back at her a little more hostile than I meant.
Gin just waved me off, "ya okay as if you weren't smitten with him at the would cup when we he started explaining how quidditch worked to you."
Thankfully there was a loud pop and Mrs. Weasley could be heard yelling "OH MY BOY, HE'S HOME! MY LITTLE BOY IS HOME." That interrupted Ginny and I's girl time.
"Mom could only be this excited about one person" said Ginny. We both looked at one another and said at the same time "Charlie!"
"Let's go down and say hi, his stories will be a good distraction while we wait for the owls to arrive."
   We let out a sigh and made our way down the stairs.
As soon as we hit the bottom of the stairs, Ginny let out an excited yelp. "Charlie I've missed you!" She cried out as she ran and tackled him into a hug.
I let out a soft chuckle, and just stood there watching the two siblings embrace. Both clearly having missed each other.
That was one of my favorite things, just watching the Weasley sibling interact with one another. There bond was so strong it was amazing to see.
  I was an only child, and liked to think if I had siblings we'd have a bond just like the Weasleys, but just knowing that the Weasleys along with Harry and Hermione would always be here for me, brought me sense of comfort.
