I told Carter I wanted a day free from guards running around my house hearing my every word. So what does he do? He comes over, lays on my couch, and declares he's spending the night. Not that I'm arguing but still!

"Did you least order pizza?" I asked him.

"You mean the deep dish, three cheese pizza that will be here in a couple minutes? Well then yes, I did."

I threw my arms around his neck and gave him a hug.

"How did you know that's my favorite?" I asked him.

    "I guessed." He shrugged.

"Why do I have doubts about that?"

"Because you know I'm lying but I won't tell you where I really found out." He smirked.

     "Whatever."

Ding! I went to answer the doorbell while Carter went to go get drinks and plates.

I opened the door to find a tall built guy around the same age as me, maybe a few years older, who wore a smile on his face.

    "That'll be $10.65."

    "Thank you." I told him.

"No problem, Ali." He said as he left.

"ALI!" Carter yelled running back into the room.

     "What?!"

"Who was at the door?! Who?!"

     "Just the pizza gu,  why?"

"That was Johnathan! I'd recognize that scent anywhere!" He threw open the door and there layed a pink envelope on my front porch with my name on it.

I tore it open, while Carter called the rest of the pack.

      Dear Alicia,
I know your friends told you left town. They were wrong. You may think that your safe around them, but your not. I believe I showed you how close to you I can get. He didn't think I had the guts to come hear you while he was here. Tell him something for me. I'm not afraid of him or anyone else. You won't know when or where I will get you, but just now I will get you. As soon as you feel safe I'll be here to remind you you're not. Enjoy the pizza.

                                              Sincerly,
                                              Johnathan

At some point Carter has come up behind me to read the letter in my hands.

"Pack a bag. Your staying at the pack house with me until we find him. I left a note for your mom."

     "Ok." I whispered.

Fifteen minutes later I was sitting in the passenger side front seat of Carter and Justin's Jeep. Justin was sitting behind me and Carter sat next to me. He had on dark sunglasses and wore a grim expression. He drove with one hand on the wheel and one on my knee. I looked into the rearview mirror to see our trail. We had five cars of werewolves with us. Two in front, three behind.

Carters jaw was clenched in an obvious mood. I placed my hand over his on my knee and he calmed a small amount. Finally we reached the pack house. He grabbed my duffel bag with one arm and wrapped the other around my waist. His room was the entire third floor so there was plenty of room. He threw my bag on the bed and pulled me back down the stairs.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

     "Your first pack meeting."

We walked the empty halls and down some stairs to the basement and pushed open the wooden doors. It was a different room than the first meeting. This one was quite larger. It had a stage-like platform in the front and chairs to fill the rest of the room. The entire room was full besides the platform and all eyes were on us.
