Never did I think leaving Denver, Colorado would upset me, but it did. Suddenly leaving everything behind didn't seem so appealing. As the moving truck drove down the highway and I took my last glance around Denver I felt a pain in my chest. I would have to start over in Florida. I had only managed to make two friends here in eleven years, and now I would only have a year to at least make one. Surely it wasn't possible. At the thought of my two friends I remember end our goodbye.
(Earlier that day)
"Amanda!!! Its my turn to hug her!!!" Ariana whined.
"Come here Ariana, we can have one last group hug!" I told her.
Amanda's face fell.
"Oh. This really is our last group hug. " She whispered.
"Yep." I answered her.
"Oh Ali!!!!!" Ariana exclaimed.
"Ali.It time to go." My mother told me.
"Ok."
I said goodbye to the girls again and climbed into the truck. As I looked in the mirror I saw tears I saw them begin to cry. And quickly, I did as well.

The truck hit a sudden bump, pulling me from my thoughts. I looked around to see we were still in Denver and had about fifteen hours left. I pulled my blanket I brought around me, pulled my feet up onto the seat, and turned sideways resting the side of my head on the seat. I closed my eyes and tried not to think about what the next 48 hours had in store for me as I slowly fell asleep.
