I woke up to my wrists, ankles and elbows burning and my head pounding. I looked around at my atmosphere to see Carter still tied to a chair, but now in front of me. His glare held my eyes trapped in his. I gave him a sad smile but his expression didn't falter for a second.
"What? Aren't you happy to see me?"
"Not in here Ali."
"Relax it'll be OK."
"No it won't Ali. Only one of us is getting out of here if either of us does."
"We both will just trust me."
"What are you talking about?"
"Justin promised."
"I still don't understand."
"Justin promised before I came in here that he would get us both out."
"This plan was his idea?!"
"No, it was mine."
"Even better." He mocked.
"You don't have to be rude. I did just find out I was your mate."
"I'm sorry. I'm just mad that your in danger."
"That's how I felt when he took you."
"Are you getting anything from Justin's link?" He quickly changed the subject.
"No. Why can I hear you and not him?"
"The mate bond is stronger than the rest of the link."
"Then how will they find us?"
"They won't find us, they'll find you because I'm going to cause a lot of noise and they will hear it."
"What will happen to you?"
"That's not the point."
