(Carters POV)
I heard her screams from the other room and I smelt her blood. I would do anything to take the pain away from her. Anything. I knew she was my mate the second I looked into her eyes. She may not know it yet but she will. I knew exactly why he wasn't hurting me. He was hurting my mate and that was worse then any injury he could give me. My wrists and ankles burned as I struggled but the pain was dull and almost nonexistent with the rage I felt. Since she was a wolf she healed quickly and that gave a small, very small, amount of hope.
I heard him talking to her and asking her the same question repeatedly. He was looking for my weakness. Little did he know he already had it. I was screaming with the pain I felt through the link. But then I heard it a huge crash as something broke down the hall.
I heard Johnathan stop and saw him running past the door to get whatever it was. I heard the familiar thud of paws running down the hall. That's when I saw Justin. His dark brown wolf was standing in the doorway. He ran over to me and yanked away at the chains. They reluctantly broke and freed me. I ran towards where I smelt her and froze in the doorway. She was slumped in the chair with blood and wounds down her entire body. The wounds on her face were merely scratches but the ones going down her body were deep and obviously reopened after they had healed. She was unconscious and her head was slumped as she was strapped to the chair. I tore the chains and she fell forward. I caught her gently and she moaned. Her body unconsciously flinched away but as my bare skin hit hers it leaned into me. I picked her up bridal style carefully and ran out the door, making sure not to move her as much. Justin came running around the corner almost hitting me but stopped before we could collide.
"Jonathan's in our cell with wolfsbane triple dose in him. What should we do?"
"Leave him for me. He caused my mate pain." I growled.
Justin bowed his head and nodded to the hallway ahead. I followed him as he padded down the hall. We were out of the building in minutes and I carried her straight to the SUV waiting for us. I sat in the middle with her cradled in my lap. I feel the warm blood going through my shirt and it made me worry even more. I mind linked the pack doctor to be ready when we got there. As we arrived in the garage I carefully but quickly lifted her out of the car and onto the gurny. The doctor wheeled her away while I stood directly outside of the surgery room's door.
A/N I really don't feel like putting an A/N but I am really sorry for the long wait. I had a lot going on but I have time now before band camp sooo more to come!
