A/N- this chapter is fully containing small moments between Harry and Davina that happened since they have been dating, one for almost every day leading up to Harry's hearing. Some are longer than the others.

Friday August 4th, 1995

Harry and Davina were in the kitchen. It was half past four in the morning, and everyone else in the house was still asleep. Davina had woken Harry up very early to have a bake-off.

The plan was to see who could make the best waffles, and of course Remus would be the judge later.

Remus didn't know of that yet, by the way.

Davina was dressed in her black leggings, matched with a brown cardigan and some fuzzy socks. Harry wore a pair of grey sweatpants and a matching grey sweater.

"I'm going to win." Davina said confidently. "You know I am the master of the waffles."

Harry scoffed. "You wish. I'm going to make the best waffles you have ever tasted." He knew damn well he wasn't right, Davina's waffles would always be the best.

Without a warning, Harry spun Davina around since she was standing with her face towards the kitchen counter. He placed a quick kiss on her lips, before walking towards the area of the kitchen which was assigned for him to use.

"You know, overflowing me with kisses is not going to make my waffles taste any worse." Davina rolled her eyes, trying to be annoyed, but she truly got happy by the amount of kisses Harry had already given her this morning.

She got a shrug as response. "I know, am I not allowed to just give you a kiss?"

"No, what if I think that's gross."

"You are the one who said yes to being my girlfriend. After a make-out session, mind you." Harry rolled his tongue on the inside of his cheek when he saw how Davina didn't have an answer to that.

Oh, he was wrong. Davina walked closer to him and put her arms around his neck, looking him in the eyes. "And I would do it again." She said and she started leaning in. Right before their lips touched, Davina sighed dramatically and walked towards her own kitchen area again. "We should get baking."

She was just teasing Harry and Harry knew that. "Fine." He said, pretending to be mad. "May the best baker win." He tried to keep a straight face, but he couldn't hold that any longer and the two both started laughing.

In no time, the kitchen was covered in waffle batter. Mainly because of Harry, who was extremely clumsy.

"Told you I make a better baker." Davina grinned at Harry, who's waffles were all baked a little too long. They were a bit mis-shaped, but Harry was proud of them, until he saw Davina's waffles.

They were all the perfect shade of light brown, and they looked perfectly shaped. Davina had already started cleaning the mess Harry made with his batter while Harry started sprinkling some cinnamon on top of his waffles.

"Okay, maybe you are the better baker, but you also have had way more practice so it's not really fair." Harry said as he snuck up behind Davina to give her a hug from behind.

She turned around in his arms and put her arms around his neck again. "I should teach you someday then." She smiled up at Harry who nodded. "Sounds good love." Davina pecked him on the lips.

"Ok, let's go and wake up Moony." She said as she removed herself from Harry's embrace and motioned for him to walk after her up the stairs.

The two silently entered Remus' room and turned on the light. Davina knew that that was the fastest way to wake Remus up, and yes, he immediately opened his eyes and sat up in his bed.
