Davie walked back to the castle as quickly as she could. It was stupid, telling Harry how she felt. It would've been better if she had kept that information to herself, because now he probably thought they were soulmates and that could change everything.

There were multiple places Davie could go, but she didn't go to the common room. Instead, she decided to step by Lupin's office.

"Davie, wait." She heard Harry call after her and she rolled her eyes because he had followed her.

Davie didn't wait and kept walking, but the footsteps following her started sounding closer and closer, until she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Harry, just let it go." Davie sighed after she was met with him standing in front of her.

Before Harry could answer, the two were met by the voice of Lupin: "Harry? Davina?"

The two looked and saw their professor standing in the doorway of his office.

"What are you two doing?" Asked Lupin. "Where are Ron and Hermione?"

Both teens replied at the same time: "Hogsmeade."

Lupin nodded in understanding.
"Ah, I see. Why don't you come in? I've just taken delivery of a Grindylow for our next lesson."

Davie was glad Lupin offered for them to come in and immediately acted on the offer.

"A what?" Harry asked confusedly behind her but he also followed Lupin into his office. In the corner stood a very large tank of water. A sickly-green creature with sharp little horns had its face pressed against the glass, pulling faces and flexing its long, spindly fingers.

"It's a water demon." Lupin explained as Davie and Harry inspected the creature. "We shouldn't have much difficulty with him, not after the Kappas. The trick is to break his grip. You notice the abnormally long fingers? Strong, but very brittle."

The Grindylow showed his green teeth and shuffled away from the humans watching it, hiding himself in a bit of weed in the corner of it's tank.

"Cup of tea?" Lupin offered the two teens. He wondered if the girl in front of him knew what he knew. "I was just thinking of making one."

Davie nodded. "Yes please."

"All right." Said Harry awkwardly.

Lupin tapped his kettle with his wand and a blast of steam issued suddenly from the spout.

"Sit down." Lupin motioned to two chairs, in one of which Davie quickly sat down. "I've only got teabags, I'm afraid- but I daresay you've had enough of tea leaves?"

Harry and Davie shared a look and snorted, both knowing Lupin was right about them despising Divination.

Lupin's eyes were twinkling at the sight of his two favorite students.

"How did you know about that?" Harry asked.

"Professor McGonagall told me." Lupin said, passing Harry and Davie a chipped mug of tea. "You're not worried, are you?"

Of course, Lupin was talking about Harry, who supposedly had 'the Grim': an omen of death.

"No." said Harry.
