!tw: short mentions of dissociation!
(idk what to put tw's for but I thought this might be a sensitive topic)

quick note: some ppl might get annoyed bc I might sometimes use american spelling and british spelling at other times, but that's never on purpose. It's simply because english isn't my first language and I literally don't know what's british and what's american in language lmao but sorry if it annoys you

It was the day before the Quidditch match, and Davie was very excited to go seeing it with Elijah, although they would of course not be supporters of the same tame. If the match even would happen; the weather outside was the worst it had been all year.

Davie had decided that this weekend she was going to try and fix most of the things she was really not looking forward to do. She was going to talk to Hermione and ask her if she wanted to help Davie learn to control her powers, she was going to talk to Harry and make things clear between them and she was going to talk to professor Lupin in the need of answers.

However, she didn't know where professor Lupin was. Davie sat in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, but instead of the nice professor, Snape was now teaching it.

Someone who also was missing was Harry, Davie had absolutely no clue where the boy was, but the seat next to Ron was still empty.

The exact moment Davie was thinking about him, the door burst open and Harry came in. "Sorry I'm late, professor Lupin. I-."

It was then, Harry realized it wasn't professor Lupin he was apologizing to.

"This lesson began ten minutes ago Potter, so that'll be ten points from Gryffindor. Sit down." Snape said as he looked Harry up and down with a nasty look on his face.

However, Harry being stubborn as he is, didn't do what Snape told him to.

"Where is professor Lupin? Why isn't he here?" Harry asked.

"He said he is feeling too ill to teach today." Snape said with a smug grin. "I thought I told you to sit down?"

Harry didn't sit down.

"What's wrong with him?"

Snape's black eyes seemed to get even darker than they usually were.

"Nothing life-threatening," he said, looking as though he wished it was. "Five more points from Gryffindor, and if I have to ask you to sit down again, it will be fifty."

It was clear Harry was hesitating whether he should listen or not, but after Davie hissed: "Harry. sit down," He slowly walked to his seat next to Ron.
