"She should have been back by now..." Gregg said with a hint of worry from the back seat, slightly looking over out the windshield. He couldn't really see anything outside but he still tried, hoping to see her walking figure walking back to the car, but she never did. "Yeah...m-maybe we should go inside and get her." James suggested while fiddling with his fingers, bouncing his leg up and down with nervousness.

"Are you an idiot? Do you remember what happened the last time they saw us? All I remembered is that they kicked your ass, and Rio's too." Joe informed looking back at the boys that filled the seat all of them a bit squished. "I just don't think it's fair. Five of us fucked up, and were making her go in there. She can get hurt you know..." James responded as he rolled his eyes at Joe who kept starring at him with a glare.

"They're college fucking pill heads, they're not gang bangers. What do you think they're gonna do? Shoot her in the face?" Rio reminded, looking into the rear view mirror, his brown eyes piercing through Jame's. "Nah, I'm pretty sure one of them is...maybe two of them are...I mean, have you seen them?" Roy budded in with a small tilt of his head, essentially thinking out loud.

"How many times as she done this?" Gregg asked looking at each of the boys individually. He really didn't expect her to be the one who get out of the car and walk into the night, but it was routine for them. "She's done this for a while. Don't worry she's got this...she always does."

As much as I absolutely disagreed with Rio and my friends using her to get them their pills, I could admit that she was pretty good with the talking and negotiation, especially when it came to the more illegal stuff because it was more serious. I mean of course I would know, I wasn't so innocent either with keeping her away from all that stuff. I was just as guilty as they were, and I hated it.

Beth wasn't exactly a smooth talker by any means, she constantly stumbled over her words whenever she was nervous, scared or flustered. Charm wasn't her strong suit, there was plenty of times when she acted a bit awkward around me. Still, she tried to play it off as if she was cool, and as if I didn't notice , of course this was in the begging and I thought it was a bit cute. But obviously drug dealers wouldn't find that cute.

Although almost all that seemed to change once drugs were in the picture, she hated being serious, but she had to push all the childish and silliness away in order to get her brother the pills and the rest of her friends some too. Beth was a bit fake when it came to all that stuff, she acted like she was tough at times when in reality she didn't want to be the one to get the pills, it scared her.
