"Here are your tips, we already counted them for you so just head out when you're ready." One of her bosses said while placing the large stack of ones on the counter in front of her, Beth had been working at the night club for a while now and it honestly wasn't bad, the people were nice, and the strippers were fun so it was a great time for everyone. Some days it got boring just working the front entrance to let people in, like today, it was a Monday and very little people showed up to party on Monday's. "Thanks DJ." Beth said with a small smile.

All of the four bosses were guys, very tall and a bit round, definitely scary with deep voices, and I wasn't gonna lie, they were scary as hell, but they looked out for their employees, especially the girls. "I'll see you on Wednesday." He said before leavening back into his office, the music was loud, Beth could practically feel the vibrations coming from the ground from how loud it was, people laughing, screaming, especially the girls, just screaming their heads off. Letting out a sigh, Beth gathered her things in her purse that had been sitting behind the counter, making sure not to forget her money.

After saying her goodbyes to the girls upstairs and to her bosses, she went out the front door, saying goodnight to the security guards. Once she opened the black doors, her eyes were greeted with the glowing atmosphere of the dark night. She was expecting to see Gregg's car front and center waiting for her, but she just saw a empty street. It was already two in the morning, he definitely should've been here by now. He didn't like Beth walking home alone so late at night, and honestly I could see why, it was Cleveland.

Reaching over inside the pocket of her jacket, she pulled out her phone while cursing under her breath, quickly pressing over Greggs contact. This had happened to her before with Gregg and her brother, sometimes they just forgot to pick her up and end up showing up around thirty minutes later, it was embarrassing having to wait outside like that. Nevertheless, they always came eventually. She just hated when they forgot about her since she reminded them practically the whole day before she went to work.

Putting the phone to her ear, she swayed her body a little bit just to make her feel less tense. Her feet were sore from standing all day, wearing heels didn't make it better either. "Please pick up, please pick up." She begged in desperation, but after a few more rings, it went to voicemail. Now I would love to say that I would never do something like this to her, I was always good at remembering things, especially when it came to Beth, but I did do this later on, maybe a couple times or so. I hated myself for it.
