I wearily entered my house to see that it was 6:08 am and the sky was glowing with hues of red and orange. So basically, I had to give Jungkook a piggy back because he wasn't showing signs of waking up anytime soon.

Luckily, Hyejin was still cuddled up in her blanket. I tucked Jungkook back in his place and decided to go downstairs as my sleep had vanished due to all this physical work. Plus I was kinda hungry so I rambled into the kitchen.

I simply cut some fruits and put them in a bowl along with yogurt. Soon, my mom and dad also entered the kitchen and started staring at me as if I was a ghost of sumn.

"Looks like this sloth has woken up early. And what is the reason, may I ask?" Dad said jovially.

"Morning, mom and dad! Oh, it's nothing special. We slept pretty early yesterday so I got up at 6. If I'd slept back in, I probably would've gotten up at 12. So I decided to just get out of bed." I lied.

"Good! How about some early breakfast then? Go wake Hyejin and Jungkook up I'll make y'all some pancakes?" Mom asked.

I nodded eagerly and turned around to go to my room when my mom continued,

"Wait, after that, go and bring Seokjin too! It's been months since I've last seen him."

"Can I just call- Okay I'll go."

The wind was cold but luckily enough, I'd changed into a black hoodie and black sweatpants this time. Hyejin lived only 3 blocks away from me so I decided to walk.

I was walking with both of my hands shoved inside my pockets as the cold breeze messed my braided hair up.

I was surprised to see plenty of people though. Most of them were out for a morning walk with their pets and others just going to work.

I was minding my own business with my head hanging low, but suddenly someone harshly bumped into me catching me off guard.

"The freaking heck. Watch where you're go-" I yelled as I spun around to see who this stupid fellow was.

He was wearing a tight navy blue polyester shirt with black trackpants. His defined muscles full on display. He was coated in sweat and his hair was greasy and messy. He glowered at me but soon his eyes widened in recognition.

"You?" We muttered at the same time.

I sighed in irritation and looked at him again.

"Well, hi...?" I said as I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. Nervous? I think not.

"Hey," He replied, his voice deeper and husky.

"Okay-um...I-i, I gotta go. S-see ya later." I faltered. Ugh! I sounded so stupid.

I turned around to go at Jin's when Taehyung flipped me around by my shoulders. His beautifully sculpted face was inches away from mine. He was too close. I didn't even realize I was holding my breath until he said,

"Would you perhaps wanna go out with me sometime?"

This guy does not beat around the bush. I was taken aback to be honest but I responded spontaneously,

"Heck yea- I mean sure!"

My mouth sometimes does embarrassing things at inappropriate times.

"Okay, are you free tonight?"

"Yeah,"

"A movie sounds good ?"

"Absolutely,"

Wow, we share the same brain cells. I love watching movies and a movie date is my ideal type.

"Give me your phone." he demanded and without hesitating I handed it to him. He took out his phone and typed something into both of em and gave mine back.

"I'll pick you at 11. Late night movies hit different. I'll text you later, yeah?" He said and jogged off almost immediately. 

I looked at my phone to see that he'd given me his number. I blushed and saved it in my contacts - Papacita ;). I grinned to myself and skipped down the path.

I knocked on the door anticipating a late response cuz lol it was 6:30. But the door opened promptly revealing Hyejin's lovely brother.

He was wearing his scruffy pink pajamas with colorful polka dots as he clutched onto his llama plushie. His eyes were droopy and his hair were protruding in various directions.

He groaned as he stretched his arms, dropping his plushie.

"I was definitely not willing to see your ugly face the first thing this morning." He croaked making me huff.

"At this moment, you're the one that's ugly. Do you really want me to bring a mirror to prove it to you?" I sneered at him.

"Ay, just shut up and tell me what you're here for," He said as a yawn escaped his tinted lips.

"Come on, we gotta go at my place."

But he just turned his back on me and started heading towards his room.

"You are not going back in bed now, are you?" I asked as I followed him inside as a lost puppy.

"That's exactly what I'm going to do. So bye, get lost." He replied as he plopped himself on his bed.

I grabbed him by the arm and started dragging him towards the door.

"I'm bringing you with me no matter what. We are gonna have breakfast at my place and Jungkook are Hyejin are also there. Are you sure you wanna come looking like this?" I said making his eyes widen.

"No way I'm coming like this. Let me go embellish my already gorgeous face." He said, yanking his arm from my hold and going back to his room.

I stood near the couch glancing at my wrist watch which screamed 7:15 am. He's taking his time as usual. Mr. and Mrs. Kim are busy people so they were already gone for work because the house was filled with silence once Jin left.

After a couple more minutes, he came out wearing a pair of black jeans and a sky blue sweatshirt. He even had a few chains and rings on. He'd combed his hair neatly as it wasn't as messy as earlier.

"Let's go." He said.

"Didn't know you'd take more time than me to get ready. Did you even bathe?"

"Polishing this handsome face every morning is not a easy job, buddy. And of course I bathed, what're you talking about?" He said, grabbing my arm as we exited their house.

"This was one of the best things that happened this year." Hyejin chirped.

"We should do this more." she continued.

Both of them were packing their bags now that we were done with breakfast. The overnight bloomed really nice and I definitely had a lot of fun. But it was filled with some... unexpected scenarios as well. I started recalling the park incident with Jungkook so I didn't even realise that someone was yelling in my ear.

"Noona~ Are you even listening?"

"Yes wha-"

"We're going to the park in the eve. You in?"

" Yeah let's- No!"

I shouted as realization hit me, making them flinch. I was going on a date with Taehyung. It's at night, but I'll still need time to digest the fact that he asked me out. I also need time to ebb my excitement and to get ready.

"Bro, chill the heck out. Why not?" Hyejin asked.

"I have to go somewhere."

"Where?"

"I'll tell you guys later."

The three of them sighed and nodded making me feel bad. It's rare of Jungkook to go somewhere with us amd I didn't wanna miss the chance. But I didn't wanna miss the date either.

"It's alright, we'll go some other time." Hyejin said clearing the guitly feeling inside me so I smiled.
