Fear and panic flooded through my body while I blankly stared at my leg with had no remnants of water. I glided my hand over my feet hoping feel some moisture but was only greeted with dryness. 

My head immediately shot up and with eyes full our confusion I glanced at Jung kook with an unbelievable look. He had a unfazed face and his mouth was zipped  up the whole time where I was bewildered.

" What the hell is wrong? Or am I hallucinating? Why my feet aren't wet? Or is there something wrong with the water?" I said in one breath and started panting through nervousness.

I dipped my hand into the water hoping to feel the watery coat, but as expected the situation was same as my feet. Soon, I started shaking and trembling because of all these happenings and I was sure close to to loose my consciousness. But suddenly the stern voice of Jung kook echoed through the forest,

" Get yourself together! This is not time to be scared or fear anything, Noona. The thing now I'm about to tell you is important and surely will clear out all the questions lingering in your head since day one..." he said firmly, each word pronounced sharper than knife.

My devastated state didn't went unnoticed by him, but instead of trying to calm me a little his tone was rather commanding and layered with distress. This made me again a bit sad but then soon, his hand instantly collided with mine and made me turn to face him. 

Holding me by my shoulders with gentleness, his eyes glimmered almost shined because of the reflection of the moon on the lake. His orbs bored into mine and which held a lot of emotions in them. I could feel it. I could sense his unconcerned behavior was making it harder for him too. Like someone ordered him to stay in his limits or to distance him from me by being cold all of a sudden.

There were lot of things he wanted to convey to me. He was trying to give it all from his gestures and body language and not physically vocalizing them. I could understand it all. I know there was something wrong from the start, and now here's another thing I added top my 'find out' list. Why Jungkook is behaving like this? Without further wasting time I made the following comment to make him feel at ease,

" I know there's something wrong which you will not tell me right now, Bun. Take your time, tell me when you'll be comfortable. I'll endure your all types of suddenly-changed behaviors." I said softly and lightly ruffled his smooth-feather like hair.

Obviously shocked by my doings, his body relaxed a bit. I could see his shoulders lumping down in calmness, and gave me a small toothy smile. 

Again he heavily sighed and progressed to tell me what he wanted to,

"You see this unexplainable things happening to you because of this lake right? There is a reason for it."

Leaving my shoulders, he ducked down a little and dunked his hand in water and moved it in circular motion creating ripples in the water. He did it for only 2-3 times and took his hand out instantly. 

He made me observe the the transformations in the water judiciously. To my surprise, instead of water being in it's still form again, the ripples magnified and created a hollow pathway underwater. My was mouth left hanging open by the unfathomable happenings.

" This is a lake, or in better words a path to both of the atypical worlds. The godly Seraph's heaven and the deadly devil's hell. You can only be able to see this lake when you re connected with one of these identities. The normal people would not be able to perceive this lake. For them it's just a part of forest. But now, I'm here with you forming and strengthening our sinful bond together, to which the water is reacting so violently to us. 

Do you now believe that I'm not just a mere human but also a devil having linkage with Lucifer? "

The words erupted from his throat like an acid on fire. His eyes held lot of pressure and body tensing as he spilled the fact about this water body. His face held with an unreadable expression, yet again  can tell that there were various thoughts running around his brain right now.

He gazed me as I just had a blank look on my face. Slowly the words got sunk in my mind and I gasped abruptly. Seeing by expected reaction he further continued,

" These worlds aren't like you see in movies. Hell means a dark-place filled with uncomfortable silence and gentle whispers creating a horrifying aura and Heaven means a happy, cheerful place decorated with loads of flowers everywhere and peace and calmness dancing in the air. No! They are same like the world we are living in. Everything will be the same. Roads, street-lights, shops , malls. But the only difference is you'll be able to sense the energy the atmosphere radiates. You'll see difference of people living over their. Hell is a mixture of all these sinful, ungodly and venomous beings having immense amount of negative energy which can be felt by you easily if you visit that place, because you are one of them. The things will differ if you go to heaven, even though a devil visiting heaven is the biggest crime in that which you can never compensate there. You'll have to pay for your doings by being an empty, lonely immortal being forever.

There are countless people living in there too. All who had done good/ bad in their past life or some who discovered their connections as an unidentified being in early stage of their human life. Like you, Noona. "

After completion of his statement I huffed out a breath heavily. I didn't even realize I was not breathing all this time. I was beyond shock by these truths. Never in my 18 year life I thought I would come across such things. I was scared, petrified and anxious about all these things. My mind was ringing with all these thoughts randomly making it ache a little. 

" Jungkook...but why are you telling me this? It's not like I will be dragged in the worlds whatever you are talking about right? You have told me the first time we talked about this, that unless and until I go against any of the sayings of Lucifer, nothing harmful will happen to me and-"

" Don't you think you already went overboard, Noona? You have already sinned." He said and sadly chuckled while wet layer of tears was filling his eyes.

"W-what are y-you talking-" I was soon cut off by Jungkook who rebelled with a harsh truth which made my legs weak and I came crashing down in the shallow water.

" You already are in love with your soulmate as expected, aren't you? Not listening to my words which I almost yelled at you thousands of times, going against the world-collapsing truth and finally becoming one and cherishing your one and only love, the son of Seraph- Kim Taehyung!"

It felt like my body was on both fire and ice at the same time. I wanted to yell and accept the truth of loving Taehyung but at the same time I didn't wanted to loose anyone of my loved people. Hot tears were pouring down my cheeks and dropping into the water which I was already siting in. 

I looked at Jungkoook with my messed up face to which he was already mirroring my expression. It hurts to see him weep like this. All the time which I spent with Jungkook, it felt like this is the time in which he had to be protected the most .

I hastily got up from the waters and gently wiped his eyes, only to be greeted with his new tears rolling down his reddened cheeks.

" I l-lost -it, Noona. I l-lost my p-purpose of e-existence. " He sobbed hardly and crashed down in my embrace while sniffing continuously.

Not quite getting what he meant, I tried to ask him to which his response made my grip loosen on his body and I could sense my heart becoming cold while all the memories with him trailed in my mind.

" As the second, unwanted and existence-less child of the one and only demon Lucifer, I was ruthlessly ordered to separate you and Taehyung before you get attached to him. But seeing you accepting the fact that you actually love your soulmate and my all efforts went in vain.

We were blood-bonded since start, only the thing is you didn't realize it. I came for you, to save you from this realistic world which we didn't belong to. But now all is over because undeniably,

You lost your real brother to no other than our monstrous father, which is me.

I am your brother, Noona"
