"Noona! Wait up!" I heard Jungkook scream from behind as I was heading home.

The day had been very exhausting and I had a lot on my plate. And I wasn't in the mood to know anything else from him so I ignored him and kept walking.

Hyejin had to take a different route home for some reason so I had no one to go home with except for Jungkook.

Then suddenly I felt a heavy lump cling to my back and I staggered to my feet.

"Oh puh-lease, I'm not that heavy, okay?" Jungkook said and pouted after getting off my back.

I just shook my head and increased my pace, not wanting to talk to anyone at the moment.

"What the..." I heard Jungkook mumble from behind before he sped up too to catch up.

He kept staring at me in confusion but I decided to keep on ignoring him and put a straight face on. I looked at the ground to avoid tripping or sumn and breaking the character.

From the corner of my eye, I saw him scratch his ear in hesitancy before he finally broke the silence,

"Why are you so quiet today?" He asked softly, his voice full of concern.

I sighed heavily and replied,

"Is there anything you want me to say?"

That made him frown a bit and he asked,

"What's wrong? Did I do something?"

I kept mum this time making him poke my cheek repeatedly in order to gain my attention. All of these vain attempts made him exhale in defeat and he said,

"Okay, you do you. I'mma leave you alone...for now, gotta do something. See you later!" He waved before jogging away.

Hyejin's POV

I'm the only one among us 3 who is punctual. I had been standing in front of the cakery from the past 20 minutes and this guy still hadn't shown up. I swear to god, just let him arrive and I'mma break all his teeth off. We decided to meet here, only the two of us, but I was the only one cooperating.

After I had lost all my patience, I decided to call him. But suddenly someone hit my back harshly making me flip around to face this stupid bunny.

"Aish, you shrew! Why you always gotta hit me!" I huffed and kept glaring at him

"Hahaha, okay sorry. Anyways, let's get it!" He chirped and grabbed my wrist before dragging us into the cakery.

We walked towards the person in charge to customize a special cake for a special person. Yas !this special someone had her 18th birthday coming up the coming weekend. So we were gonna throw a special party for her and I was very excited to be honest.

Jungkook had contacted all our close friends to invite them to the party and the birthday girl had absolutely no idea of it. We also had the birthday girl's parents in on the plan so yay.

Lemme hope everything goes as planned.

Areum's POV

About 5 more days had passed and luckily I was becoming myself again. No nightmares, no weird feelings, nothing. Everything was pretty chill except for the fact that I hadn't seen Taehyung after that encounter. I wouldn't say I missed him but I wanted to see him...? Anyways, I was really excited for my upcoming birthday!

"Okay, that's it for today. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Our teacher said after the bell rang and she exited the classroom.

I slung my heavy bag on my shoulder and glanced at Hyejin who had a huge grin on her face making me curious.
