We were sedately standing there, watching the moonlight glimmer right in front of the magical lake. Our minds were flooded with several thoughts, emotions and feelings which made us numb and unable to vocalize it.

The whirlpools were visible in the center of the lake, circling continuously in a definite pattern which was calming to see. Waves of cool breeze gently kissed our exposed skin trying to cool the fire which was flaming between us. Everything seemed so peaceful yet so chaotic.

After blurting out the truth about Jungkook, he hadn't uttered or mumbled a single alphabet and that was noticeably strange.

Despite his talkative nature, he allowed silence to be around us at the moment. Not that I desperately wanted to have a conversation after what had happened, but I still wished to catch a sight of some kind of reaction from him.

I was absorbed in my own mind until I heard something from him,

"So what do you want to do?" he said in the softest voice ever, which made it sound deeper than it already was and maintaining the lace of sincerity in his tone.

I looked at him with a determined expression and sighed heavily. I brought a hair-rubber up to my hair, tying my loose locks into a high pony tail. Rubbing my hands on my thighs, I glanced at him again to answer his awaited question,

"I have to make my way to the dark world underneath this unnatural water body to find him." I replied in the most confident tone ever, but behind it there was a visible layer of fear too.

Our eyes met for a second, I could see the his dark coffee orbs sparkling again, which shimmered even more due to the white moonlight above us. His face held an unreadable look, which neither gave encouragement nor disappointment regarding my decision.

Instead I got a small nod in return from his side along with  the intervening of our fingers. Warmth spread across my whole body as I sensed his fingertips gliding delicately over mine. Catching a glimpse of our hands, my heart palpitated faster and a layer of pink blush surrounded my cheeks.

I could feel myself getting lost in each other's comfort until I heard his sudden utterance,

"We've never talked about these things before, but Areum-ah..."His voice had nervousness lingered it in which made me look at him right away.

Suddenly I was scared and confused because of his statement. Was he not believing me? Is he seeing all this in some different way? My thoughts were paused due to an unanticipated action from him.

He stepped forward, increasing the proximity between us even more than earlier. His arms made their way towards my waist, coiling my body properly in his. His fingers intervened with themselves, firmly locking me in his embrace. Looking at my awe-stricken face, his lips got molded in a gentle smile. His orbs poured pure affection in them which almost made me tear up.

The way his fingers traced the outline of my face, made me feel multiple things at the same time and erupted a pool of hotness in my stomach. His hands tucked a strand of hair which was getting between his work and he continued to admire my face with same adoration.

Heat rose it's way up to my cheeks which made it scarlet in no time and seeing this, a soft chuckle bubbled out of his chest,

"Areum, remember we are soulmates. I would never let you do things alone. Each and every step of life we will face challenges together from now on. I'm afraid that you'll not be able to go alone down there, I'm joining you too." he stated his thoughts suddenly, clearing all the knots which were probably eating his head.

No words seemed to roll off my tongue at that instance. With mirroring his affection in my eyes, a smile made it's way up to my lips. 

With all occurrences with him rolling in my head, my heart started beating fast and I looked down, not wanting to see his face. Afraid of his reaction, my head started flooding with some negative responses from him which made me regret my saying.

Not to mention we were in the same position with being wrapped in each other's warmth. I wanted leave at the same time but also stay forever in this position.

"I don't know how to say this but, I think I love you Taehyung" I blurted out like a bolt out of blue.

I seemed not to quite interpret what he was thinking at this time, but I could hear his calm breathing taking pace. 

Was he trying to say something now? Is he finally going to respond to me? 

I was anticipating some verbal statements, but instead a hand travelled up to my chin, slightly leveling it up. I glanced at him, with my thumping heart which was inches away from popping out from my rib cage.

He confidently shortened the distance between us even more, making our breaths mix with each other. I felt like my whole body was drowning in this wave of devotion for me which was coming from his side. 

My eyelids were instantly closed off, not able to handle this much closeness. Predicting that there was a moderate smile which was probably hovering his lips by now, I couldn't help but try to feel every second of this beautiful moment which will be painted golden in our history.

His smooth fingers came in contact with my face, this time gliding over the jawline. The feeling was too immense and I felt like the ground beneath my feet slithering away. His fingers made it's way towards my bottom lip, casually swiping over it sensually. Unexpectedly a hiss left my mouth as I felt getting drunk in his touch.

The fantasies which I made about feeling his lips on mine can come true any moment, and I felt like passing out thinking about those. My body felt as if I was on a soft-cloud flying with peaceful breeze surrounding us.

Desirously, I sensed his luciuos lips grazing over mine. The slight brushing of our lips, magnified the warmth which was creating a mess in my head. I was wanting nothing more but to capture those plump-rosy lips in mine. And I did.

Our lips finally collided against each other, raising the hotness which was smeared in the atmosphere. His lips felt too perfect entangling with mine, as if they were just made for me. Never thought kissing someone would give this level of ecstasy. 

The surrounding heated up as I felt his tongue exploring my bottom lip which drove me insane than I already was. His lips were pressed harder than before upon mine, devouring them like it was his prey. His orbs were shut and he was surely enjoying himself in this messy condition.

Both of our eyes were closed, loving the pretty small dance our lips were doing against each other. He surcharged his lips further more jumbling our tongues and entwining our fingers. The delicateness in his movements showed the urge of inseparation and the involvement of tongue showcased trust towards each other.

After the heated up moment, we gradually pulled away and I felt his tongue lazily grazing over my lips, finishing off finely.

We both were caught up with normalizing our breathing and I didn't notice him already staring intensely at me.

"I hope you got my response? I love you too, Areum" he said tenderly and then avoided my gaze, looking everywhere but me.

 I smiled and pecked his lips again which definitely took him off guard as his eyes widened at my stunt.

I've never been so happy after knowing the truth of my existence but for the first time I realized that this was not the end, I have a lot to do.

I have to write my fate myself and not walk on the baseless destiny which was pre-written. I will have to find my brother and rescue him from the hell-hole, giving him a chance to live by himself. And for all those things, I need him by my side.

I need Taehyung to change our lives, so that we can be inseparable for the rest of our future.

"Fate may tear us apart, but our love is stronger.." Taehyung softly said as he stood beside me. And I nodded.
