Chunhua wasn't the least bit surprised when a scoff came out of Xiaojun along with a glare. "You?"

"Yeah, what's your problem?" Chunhua asked, raising an eyebrow. "Scared?"

"Not a chance." Xiaojun replied, taking his stance. But Chunhua knew better.

Xiaojun was definitely skilled beyond a level Chunhua could reach, beyong a level that any human could reach. He was built to beat any cyborg put in front of him and the amount of times he had won the Cyborg Games was only proof of that.

But that was also exactly why Chunhua wasn't scared at all as smirked, staring at the nervous cyborg in front of her.

It was because Xiaojun was meant to fight cyborgs. And only cyborgs.

While Chunhua was going through Xiaojun's files, she had taken note at how Xiaojun's brain modification that made him able to analyze his opponent worked.

The modification in Xiaojun's brain worked by reading the modifications in other cyborgs, all which were similiar with having work done of them. With that ability, Xiaojun could sense what his opponent was about to do and then his brain would automatically tell him how to defend and attack himself. It was a modificaltion which was extremely expensive and was tested many times, but very few of them worked until Xiaojun.

But as Chunhua did more research into it, she learned that if Xiaojun was facing an opponent with a regular, unmodified, human brain, his modification would be useless.

Which is why she decided to run at him, fearlessly.

Xiaojun was strong, immediately grabbing onto Chunhua and blocking her first attack. But that only caused a gap in his stance, which Chunhua took advantage of.

She could feel the eyes of the other cyborgs on her and Xiaojun tense up in surprise, none of them expecting that the girl had a chance with the strongest member of their team.

When the sound of thud rang through the silence of the room, coming from Xiaojun landing on the mat after Chunhua had effortlessly flipped him over her shoulder, it was clear that Chunhua was an expert at what she was doing.

A slow clap sounded and Chunhua turned her head to see that it came from Hendery, and the rest soon followed.

Chunhua tried not to seem too happy as she turned around, sticking her hand out to Xiaojun, who was rubbing his back. He shot her a dirty look, refusing to take her hand as he pushed himself off the ground.

Chunhua heard him scoff as she walked passed her, taking Hendery's side again and couldn't help but feel proud of herself.

"Alright." Chunhua said, clapping her hands together as she turned back to the groups. "Why don't we start with some basic fighting strategies?"

...

Xiaojun had no appetite as he stared at the food in front of him.

Embarassed. Xiaojun felt completely embarassed as he sat there in the cafeteria, still thinking about the training session with Chunhua.

"Mmm, Chunhua got you good." Hendery chuckled as he ate, enjoying his food. "I have to admit, you did a pretty good job as well but she just knew exactly what she was doing. She definitely has my respect."

"Just shut up." Xiaojun said, just loud enough for Hendery to hear. Hendery didn't seem to care so much, simply shrugging his shoulders.

"You're thinking too much about this. Intelligence hired her for a reason, there's nothing bad about Chunhua beating you. In fact, it would be a bigger concern if she couldn't." Hendery said, continuing to eat.
