Killian's POV

Fucking finally.

Each second I spend in this god damn castle, is another second I have in losing my patient.

That cocky of a Prince really pisses me off.

God knows how Mia and him are such good friends. Though, it isn't a surprise. Their both full of surprises and gets on my nerves.

I join Mia and the Prince outside. Everything of our belongings packed inside.

Standing a few meters in the corner, I watch the say their goodbyes. It was more of an insult to eachother, than a goodbye you say to someone you won't be seeing for a while.

As much as I hate the guy, it doesn't miss my eye of how he makes Mia happy. If you could count the insult chat. They have a history together which pisses me off even more.

It doesn't make a difference if their just friends, but considering the fact I saw them make out infront of my eyes, makes it harder to forget. Seeing his hands all over her makes me want to kill him with my bare hands.

I hate it.

I hate it.

I hate it.

"Killian? Are you ready to go?" My eyes snapped to her. She stood infront of me, her hands cupping my cheek. "I assume that head of yours has gone somewhere else, huh." A smirk plastered on her lips, making me chuckle quietly.

Totally.

Making our way to the car, the Prince pulled me back for a quick word.

"Look," he started. "I don't do cheesy words, but if anything happens to her, I'll make sure you pay for it. She's as important to me as my title."

I forced myself to nod. "Of course, Your Highness."

With one more insult to one another, we settled off.

"Stop being tense will you." Looking down at our joint hands, I didn't even realised how tensed I was since she mentioned it. "Your free from his Royals highness scrawny hands. Enjoy the time before it last."

"I wonder how you do it."

She chuckled under her breath and looked outside the window. "Tell me about it. Took me years without having to kick his ass from that mouth of his."

Talking about his mouth... I wanted to say.

"Stop the car."

What?

"Stop the car."

Confusion overload through me, though I still parked at the side of the road. Setting the engine off, I waited.

"What exactly is wrong with you?"

"What are you talking about?"

I was startled when she climb onto my lap, locking her fingers around my neck. I rest my hands on her hips, pulling her closer to me.
