Mia's POV
Making my way to meet Leon in the garden, I passed several hallways that lead to different rooms in the castle. Thankfully, I remembered the path to downstairs and sauntered to the double doors which led to where Leon was currently waiting for me.
I was surprised he was wearing something casual- not this expensive, stuck up suits. I cocked my eyebrow in a teasing way.
"You look quite dashing, princeling," I grin, eyeing his outfits. "You look more... human."
"You're just jealous."
The weather outside was mild, the fresh air kissing my face. We walked side-by-side, admiring the flowers that trailed down the path we walked on.
"I wanted to ask you something," I began.
"What is it?"
"Do you still remember the favour you still owe me?"
"Yeah. For saving my ass when we were met. What about it?"
"Well, I need you to do a little favour for me."
He turns to stand infront of me, a wary expression on his face.
I continue. "My father wants an alliance with your father. In future reference, if anything goes bad, any of you could go to the other in need of help," I explained, my voice strong. "I don't know why now, but considering he specifically asked me to do it, it has to be something important for him to go all out in asking an alliance with your father."
He sigh, raking a hand through his hair. "I don't know what I can do. He never listens to anything I say, but I can try. He's too full of himself to consider anyone's opinions, other than his own." I snicker. "I can't promise anything, but I can definitely try."
"Thank you."
We strolled outside the castle, a conversation riding up within the time.
Guards and maids would give small nods of Leon's approach, in return of offering them a smile.
He definitely has changed since the last time I saw him. He wasn't as much as an airhead, though I've grown use to it.
When Leon and I first met, it was such a chaotic encounter. I saved his ass when people were after him and in return for any favour I desire. Thank god I saved his ass. Not only for the alliance, but for meeting him.
We spent our time hanging out in secret and did other things to pass time. None of us cared. We both needed the distraction.
When the time came for him to leave, he promised he would see me someday. That never came, though I wasn't mad. I was glad he was thinking about more of himself and was safe.
We somehow stopped infront of my room through our little journey around the castle.
"I want you to meet me at the courtyard in half an hour," he informed me. "Wear the clothes set on your bed. Be ready to fight."
"Wait, what-" He left before I could finish.
What was he up to?
