Mia's POV
Am I the only that never understand men?
Like one minute you're near to fucking and the next thing you know they throw you like shit.
That's how I felt, ladies and gentlemen.
After last night, Killian has been avoiding me lately. He barely talks to me, and that only happens when I give him orders. That motherfucker.
I know what you're thinking. Don't give someone your heart when they don't deserve in the first place, because that only gives you a broken heart. Always blaming yourself for the things you thought you did wrong.
But let me tell you.
Fuck men.
Fuck them.
Fuck all of them.
Because we don't need no men to feel powerful, because we're more powerful than we think.
So before you decide to give your heart to someone, do you really trust them not to crush it with their bare hands?
Finishing my touches, I took out my phone from the table, ringing Leia. I haven't heard anything from her, and I'm getting a bad feeling. It continues to ring, and I tried 3 times, but no answer.
Dialling Adam, he picks up on 3rd ring. "Hey bro. Do you know where Leia might be. She isn't replying to any of my messages or picking up any of my calls." I was worried that something might of happened to her.
I hear shuffling around at the other phone, as he muted the call for a minute, before answering. "She's doing alright. Uhh... I gotta go. Bye!" I stare at my phone for a second, confused of what just happened.
Something tells me he's hiding something. I'll call him back later, but first I have a date to go to.
A cough startled me, spinning around finding the source.
"Jerk," I mutter under my breath, placing on my shoes. "Are you ready to talk to me, or are you just going to ignore me?" I taunt, straightening up.
"I'm talking to you right now, aren't I?" I roll my eyes, as he hands me the envelope that I promised myself I'd read.
Opening it up, I hold in my anger. This has got to be a fucking joke! I'm gonna kill someone right now if no one tells me this is a fucking joke.
"What is it?" Killian asked. I forced out a laugh, handing it to him. He scans the piece of paper, shaking his head. "Are you gonna sign it?"
I scoff, snatching it back. I shoved it in my purse. "They have both some fucking explanation to do." How could he?!
Exiting our room, we stepped inside the elevator. "Make sure at least 5 guards are in position," I tell him. "Don't attack unless I give the order."
"Of course." Back to this again, I see.
Getting inside the car, we took off. I was suppose to be meeting him at a fancy restaurant. Didn't expect much from him.
