Third person's POV
The sight of the figure made her tremble in her seat. She could only stare at it. She thought about it not being real, though that changed quickly when her calloused fingers touch its soft cheek.
"Mom?" She cried. The sight of her brought back memories. Memories that she long time ago pushed back. Memories that would remind her of her. She traced her fingers along her face, the touch definitely bringing all the memories. "Y-you...you died." Saying the word made her break down in the spot. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
The woman that looked like her mom, smiled. A smile that made her heart ache. A smile that she so long missed. "I'm here. I'm here." She reassured. The feeling of her arms around her made her feel something. Something that she missed.
She waste no time embracing her back. She couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe that her mother was really here. With her. She sniff against her mothers neck, not wanting to leave her again. Again.
She pulls back, incredulously not believing it. "How-how is this possible?"
That smile never faltered as she answered, "That can wait. For now, I want to know how my daughter grew up to such a wonderful young woman." She looks at Mia up and down, the smile never leaving.
"I'm sure you have a lot to catch up on," her father began, "but we still have matter to discuss."

Mia's POV
I still couldn't believe it. Was I imagining things? No. This was real. She was real.
I couldn't stop my tears as I felt her wrapped her arms around me. The mother I still loved was here. Here with me.
But how?
How was this even possible?
I saw him shot her. Killed her. Having to witness it with my own two eyes. I couldn't understand what was going on, but that can wait.
All I waited for was here with me. With us. Never leaving her side, we sat on a separate couch. I couldn't bare losing her. Not again.
"You must be wondering how this possible," my father says, drawing my attention to him. "We never told you the whole story to your mothers death."
He turns his head to Killian and Aaron. "Give us moment." They both nod, leaving the room. My father continued. "This must be all too much to handle, but we were doing this to protect you."
"Did anyone know about this?" I asked.
Both my parents nod. "Yes. All of our family members knew about it. Even Aaron."
"Aaron?" What does Aaron have to do with this? He killed her and-
"Back then... before your mothers supposedly death, we had gotten a lot of death threats. Death threats that had you and your brothers life in line. But especially your mother." They both stare at eachother, the adoration back in their eyes. "We weren't the biggest Mafia back then and I had little power to keeping your mother safe. That's when I had the idea of faking her death. I knew they would eventually stop the death threats for so short of time after knowing your mother died, giving me enough time to get myself in line and figure out how I would protect you and your brothers."
