Chapter 13

Melina's * POV *
I was sitting in my room when I heard the door bell ring. I ran down stairs and opened the door.

Sammy's * POV *
I was standing outside of her door when I finally worked up the courage to ring the doorbell. As soon as she opened the door I said something. " Melina I came as soon as I got your call I- " she cut me off by doing something I didn't expect. She crashed her lips to mine. I automatically kissed her back. She put her arms around my neck and I put my arms around her waist and pulled her closer. She slowly pulled away and rested her forehead in mine.

" you were right " she said looking up at me. " what are you talking about ? " I said confused. " About Kenny. Everything you said. It's true. I'm so sorry I didn't believe yo- " she said but I cut her off. " wait. Why are you all of a sudden saying this? Did Kenny do something ? I swear to god what did he do. " I said looking at her. She looked down. " Sammy it's fine- "
" Melina tell me! " I said making her look up at me.

She brought me inside and explained to me what happened. I got off of the couch and ran my fingers through my hair. " I'll be right back. " I said walking towards the door. " sammy wait. " she said grabbing my hand. " where are you going " she said. I looked at her and said " making sure he never does that again " after I said that I walked out the door and went to my car. I started the car a drove straight to Kenny's house.

When I got there I knocked on the door. His mom opened the door. " hi is Kenny here ? " I said. " yes honey, he's in his room " she said letting me in. I thanked her and ran upstairs to Kenny's room. I opened the door and ran in. Kenny stood up fast. I was breathing very heavily by now. I walked over to him and punched him in the face as hard as I could. " Don't you ever touch Melina again " I said walking out of his room and out of his house.

I drove back to Melina's and walked in her house. She was sitting on her couch asleep. I picked her up and took her to her room. When I set her on her bed and she woke up. " Sammy " she said as I went to sit in one of her chairs. I'm sleeping here. There's no way I'm letting her be alone tonight. Her parents left for some vacation so she will be alone for a few weeks.

" yes? " I said looking at her. " come lay with me. " she said grabbing my hand. I smiled and laid down with her. I turned over and put my arm around her. " goodnight Melina " I said. " goodnight sammy " she said. I was so comfortable with her in my arms.

Next day
Aliah's * POV *
I woke up and realized I have two more days until I have to leave. My dad said I don't have to go to school for the rest of the week thank god. I tried to make Cameron leave so he could go to school but he said he wanted to spend as much time as he could with me before I left. He's so sweet. I looked over and saw Cameron wide awake looking at me. " good morning beautiful " he said smiling and kissing my forehead. He got out of my bed and stretched. " I'm gonna go make breakfast " he said walking towards my door. I got up fast and ran to him.

I grabbed his hand " Cameron you don't have to make breakfast " I said. " yes I do " he said kissing me. He ran down the stairs. I smiled. I walked back into my room and grabbed my phone. I went downstairs and Cameron was standing there. " I'm sorry I'm sorry " he said. I ran down the stairs and my dad was standing there flipping out. " dad ! " I said running towards Cameron. " Aliah who is this?! And why is his shirt off! " he said yelling. I looked at Cameron and laughed under my breath. " Dad this is Cameron. He's my... He's my boyfriend. " I said looking down scratching my neck.

" I though Nate was your boyfriend ? " he said looking at me in confusion. " Nate? Who's Nate ? " Cameron said clenching his jaw. I looked back at my dad. " dad Nate and I broke up when I moved to California. " I said touching Cameron's arm so he would calm down. " why? I liked Nate " my dad said. Cameron was still tensed up. " well we broke up. I have a new boyfriend dad " I said holding Cameron's hand. Cameron looked down at me and smiled.
