Chapter 16

Melina's * POV *
I was in my room watching Gossip Girl when I heard someone knock on the door. What? Who would be here. I ran down stairs and looked through the peep hole thing. It was Cameron. I opened the door. It was pouring outside. " Cameron what the hell are you doing ? " I said. " I need help " he said looking down. " we'll come inside you're soaked. " I said pulling him inside. I closed the door.

" did you walk here ? " I said. " Ya. I left my car at my house and I was at Nash's and I really needed your advice. " he said. " what did you need advice for? " I said sitting on the couch. He sat next to me. " ok don't freak out " he said.

Cameron's * POV *
" Cameron what did you do? " she said looking at me. " well I um, I kissed Brittany " I said looking down. I slowly looked up at her. She stood up fast. " are you kidding me? " she said raising her eyebrow. " why the fuck would you do that?! " she said throwing her hands up. " I don't know ok! I have no idea what I was thinking. " I said getting up. " she's going to kill you " she said putting her hand on her head. " well what do I do? Do I make up an excuse ? " I said.

" no don't make up an excuse, dumb ass "she said pushing my shoulder. She thought for a second." You're going to have to tell her the truth. " she said putting a hand on her hip. " no! She's going to think I'm lying if I say " oh I just had no idea what I was doing " she obviously won't believe that. " I said. " well how do you know? " she said. " because I've been dating her for 5 months Melina. I'm the one out of all of us who has spent the most time with her. I've really gotten to know her and I feel like I've known her for forever. She's my everything. She makes me smile when I'm on the worst mood and she never fails to make me laugh. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I really don't want to mess this up. " I said. " oh my god. Cameron that's so sweet " she said.

" I just really like her. I have to go. I have to tell her what happened and apologize. Thanks for the advice Mel " I said hugging her. " Cameron I have to drive you home wait! " she said following me out the door. She drove me home and I walked in my house. I thought about it for a while.

Aliah's * POV *
I was sitting on my bed and watching YouTube videos. My dad and Amy went out to eat so I'm really bored. I got up and went into the living room. I sat on the couch and turned on the tv. I was really comfortable. I was in pajamas. I was wearing black pajama shorts, a over sized tee that said Ohio State on it, and dark grey knee high socks. I checked my phone and it was 6:34pm.

I got up and decided to make cookies. I got the pan thing out and got out the ingredients. I was about to start making them but the door bell rang. I pulled my hair up into a messy bun and opened the door. It was Nate. " oh hey. What's up? " I said. " nothing. I was just really bored. Do you remember when we were little and I would come over everyday and we would make snow men even if there was barely any snow on the ground. " he said laughing. I laughed. " Ya I do remember that. So um, do you want to come in? " I said.

" Ya sure " he said walking in. " I'm making cookies. " I said walking over to the pan and cookie dough. " I'll help " he said walking to the sink to wash his hands. I washed my hands and I started to roll the cookie dough into balls. " Nate you aren't even doing anything. You're just eating the cookie dough " I said laughing. " you know what, it is actually really good. Here try some " he said. But he put his hand in the flour and put some on my face. " NATE ! " I said backing away.

He was cracking up. " I'm going to kill you ! " I said scooping flower into my hand and running after him with it. I finally caught up to him and smacked him in the face with it. He looked at me. I was laughing so hard. He ran after me and grabbed me by the waist. He started to tickle me. " Skate stop! " I said laughing. He ignored me and kept tickling me. He moved his hand to my stomach where I'm most ticklish. He's the only one that knows that.

" Nate don't. " I said pointing at him. He shrugged and tickled my stomach. " OK OK PLEASE STOP " I said laughing. He stopped and laughed at me. " I can't believe you're still ticklish " he said. " I can't either " I said smiling and looking at him. He was looking at me. He smiled. " what? " I said putting the last of the cookie dough on the cookie sheet. " nothing " he said still smiling but shaking his head.

" so what do you want to do ? " I said walking into the living room and sitting down on the couch. " let's watch a movie " he said. " alright pick a movie " I said pointing to the movie cases. He picked out The Amazing Spider Man. " really ? " I said. " ya. I know it's your favorite movie. " he said putting the movie into the DVD player. I smiled. He walked over to the couch and sat right next to me. A little while after we took the cookies out and ate them.

When the movie was over I got up and stretched. " I love that movie ! " I said. He laughed at me. I smiled at him. " your smile is so pretty " he said getting up. I blushed " thank you " I said. He was getting closer. He walked to me and tucked a few pieces of my baby hairs behind my ear. He had his hand on my jaw. He looked at my eyes and then my lips. I did the same. He put his hands on my hips and slowly pulled me towards him. My heart was beating a thousand miles per minute. He leaned in but before his lips reached mine Amy walked in with my dad.

Nate and I jumped away from each other. Thank god Amy came home. " hey Nate. " my dad said. " Hey sir " Nate said shaking my dads hand. They just walked to their room. " that was weird. I'm surprised he didn't ask anything about you being here " I said laughing. " haha me too " he said. " so where were we? " Nate said leaning in. " Uh I don't think so. " I said putting my hand on his chest. " why not ? It's not like you have a boyfriend or anything. " he said.

I glared at him. " well why wouldn't I ? " I said crossing my arms. " come on, you know I didn't mean it like that " he said. " well that's how I took it. " I said. He did this last time. The reason I'm so pissed is because when Nate and I were still dating he tried to tell me that I wouldn't have another boyfriend after him. He used to be extremely protective. He just needs to find his chill. " I'm sorry ok? " he said holding both of my hands. " fine " I said. He smiled and let go of my hands.

" you look so hot when you're mad " he said smirking at me. I rolled my eyes and laughed. I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. I was looking for something to drink. Nate walked behind me, wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his head on my shoulder. I smiled and turned my head to look at him. His eyes are so pretty. I turned my head back to the fridge and closed the doors. I turned around and tried to walk to my room but he wasn't letting go. " Skate " I said still trying to get out of his grip.

" I'll only let you go if you agree to go to a party with me tonight " he said. " Um no. It's already
8:36 " I said looking at the clock. " so? Parties normally start this late. Come on please " he said. " uh fine " I said. " now let me go " I said again. He let me go. " what time does it start? " I said walking into my room. " uh in 45 minutes " he said. " alright I still have time to get ready. What should I wear? " I said. " where whatever you want " he said sitting on my bed.

I picked out my outfit and put it on. ( the outfit is at the top ) I straightened my hair and left it down. I put on makeup and sprayed perfume. I put on my shoes and walked out of the bathroom. " alright I'm ready " I said. " wow. You look hot " Skate said. " thanks " I said laughing. He was wearing black jeans, a vans shirt, and red vans.

* at the party *
We walked in the house and went straight to the kitchen. Nate handed me a drink. " drink this " he said. I took it and looked at it. It was a shot. " who's driving home? " I said. " I will " he said. " come on just drink it " he said. I looked at it. Well what the hell. I downed it. Drinks and drinks and drinks later Skate and I are dancing. I look around and see Caden. " holy shit Caden ! " I yelled. Caden looked at me. " AYE MY NIGGA " he said putting his arms up. I laughed and walked over to him.

We were talking when a guy walked over to me. " hey, whats up sexy " he said grabbing my butt. " OK UM GET THE FUCK UP OFF ME " I said moving his hand. " come on. Let's go upstairs. " he said. " Ya no thanks " I said rolling my eyes. " I said come on. " he said grabbing my wrist tightly. " let go of me! " I said trying to yank my arm away. He ignored me and pulled me up the stairs. " NATE " I yelled. I saw him dancing and yelled his name again. " NATE HELP ME " I yelled. He still couldn't hear me.
