Chapter 20

Aliah's * POV *
Melina and Sammy were just standing there hugging. I smiled and went to my room. As soon as I sat on my bed I heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened it. It was Nash. " hey " I said opening my door for him to come in. " what's up? " I said sitting on my bed. " nothing. I'm just bored. " he said. " ok well what do you want to do? " I said. " well what's something in Ohio that you can't do in California ? " he said. " well it's warm in Ohio now so there's not much. " I said. " oh ok. Do you guys want to go to the movies ? " he said.

" ya. Let me go ask everyone. " I said. I got up and went to the kitchen. Sammy and Melina were sitting there talking. " hey do you guys want to go to the movies? " I said. The both nodded. " ok. Let's go. " I said. Everyone was already ready.

After the movie we went out to eat. I wasn't hungry so I didn't get anything. After we ate it was about 7:40pm. We drove to my house and walked in the door. Melina, Sammy, and Nash sat on the couch. I went to my dads room and knocked on the door. " come in " he said. He was on his phone. " are you ready to leave tomorrow ? " he said. I nodded. " Are you ok? " my dad said. " I'm doing ok. " I said sighing. He got up and hugged me. I hugged him back and started to tear up. " I've been trying to act strong. I really have. But it just keeps getting to me. I can't believe she isn't here. " I said sniffling. He just rubbed my back.

" you will be ok. I love you " he said. " I love you too dad " I said. He pulled away from the hug. " I'm gonna go finish packing up the rest of my things. We have to get up early tomorrow for our flight. "I said wiping my eyes and walking out of his room. I went into my room and packed up the last of my stuff. After I was done I took a shower and went to bed.

* on the plane ride *
I went to my seat and Nash was seated next to me. We both sighed at the same time and laughed. " are you ready? " he said. " for what? " I said. " for Cameron. I told you he has changed a lot.. " he said. " oh. Ya. I'm sure it will be fine. " I said. I put in my earbuds in, played music and fell asleep.

" hey, we're here. " Nash said slightly shaking me. I groaned and took out my earbuds. We got out of the plane and walked into the building entrance thing or whatever. We were walking to the cab when I saw JJ, Jack G and Matthew. I smiled and ran to them. I hugged JJ first. " I missed you guys so much " I said hugging Matt and Jack G. " we missed you too " JJ said. I smiled and we all got in the cab. We all just went to my house. I set my bags down on the couch and slumped down as I sat on the couch. Melina walked over and laid on me.

I laughed. Sammy ran over and jumped on Melina and Nash jumped on Sammy. " oh god I can't breath " I said. They all got off of me and laughed. " I don't want to go back to school tomorrow. " Melina said. " at least we were on spring break so we didn't miss any school. " Nash said. They nodded. I looked at my phone and it was 11:10am. " I'm gonna go home. " Melina said picked up her bags. " me too " Sammy and Nash said. " alright bye guys, I'll see you tomorrow ! " I yelled grabbing my bags and going up to my room.

I was in my room on my laptop and watched a couple movies. After that I watched the vampire diaries. By the time I was done it was 6:46pm. I washed my face and left my hair down. I changed into sweatpants and a tshirt and went to bed.

Next day
I woke up as soon as I heard my alarm clock go off. I turned it off, got out of bed and stretched. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I decided to dress up today. I took out my phone and texted Melina.
A: dress up with me. I don't want to be alone.
M: ok.
I put my phone on the sink and got my outfit. I wore a dress with a white lace top and a floral bottom. I curled my hair, did my make up, slipped on my wedges and put on my cardigan. I put on deodorant and perfume. I ran downstairs and went to the kitchen. " good morning " Amy said taking muffins out of the oven. " good morning " I said smiling. " I have to go to school. Thank you for the muffins! " I said taking one of them and running out of the door. I got in my car and drove to school.

I walked into school and automatically ran into someone. Of course I dropped my stuff. I bent down and started picking up my stuff. Who ever I bumped into dropped their stuff too and they were picking it up. I stood up. " I'm so sorry. " I said. The stood up. " it's ok- " he said but stopped when he looked at me. It was Cameron. " hey " I said cracking a smile. " hey " he said and smiled too but shook it off. He walked away from me but ran into me. Ok? I just brushed it off and went to my locker.

I walked to first period and saw Cameron. I walked over and sat next to him. As soon as I sat next to him he got up and sat next to Brittany. He looked at me and then kissed her. I looked at him like he was crazy. He just looked back at me and basically started sucking her face off. Wow.

I looked down. Let's hope this period goes by fast. Ugh, I forgot I have Math with him. This just isn't my day is it. The teacher finally started the class.

It was finally the end of the day. Cameron ignored me the whole day. I got my stuff out of my locker and walked to my car.

* 1 week later *
Cameron has ignored me ever since I came home. And every chance he caught me looking at him he would automatically look away. I kept trying to talk to him but he would just walk away. He hates me. Well at least Sammy and Melina are back together. I was in 3rd period. I'm starving. I can't wait until lunch.

Melina's * POV *
Sammy was walking me to my next period. " bye " I said smiling. " wait " he said. He pulled my hand, spun me around and kissed me. I smiled through the kiss. " bye " he said smiling and walking away.

Aliah's *POV*
It was finally lunch time. I was at my locker when it got slammed shut. " what the hell do you think you're doing? " it was Cameron. " what? " I said. " Aliah I'm trying to get over you. Ok? Just leave me alone. " he said walking away. " Cameron wait. " I said grabbing his hand. " what " he said turning around. " I shouldn't have broken up with you. It was the worst mistake I've ever made. Please don't leave. " I said. He pulled his hand away. " I can't. Do you know how much pain you put me through when you broke up with me? A lot. It was a lot of pain. I couldn't even bare the thought of not being with you. You were my everything. " he said getting closer to me. He pressed me against the lockers. Our faces were centimeters apart.

Cameron's * POV *
I slightly pressed her against the lockers. My nose was almost touching hers. I was trying to back away from her but I couldn't. I eventually got off of her. I walked away, I was half way down the hall when I stopped in my tracks. Fuck it. I turned around and walked to her fast. I pushed her against the lockers and kissed her. My hands were on the lockers behind her and her arms were locked behind my neck pulling me closer. We stood there, kissing for what felt like ages. We pulled away to take a breath.

She looked into my eyes and hugged me. " I missed you so much. " she said with her voice shaking. I hugged her even tighter. " I missed you too. " I said putting my face into the crook of her neck.
