Chapter 24. The Silver Lining pack

Type POV;

This whole area is a silver lining pack, the pack that was led by my parents. The land is rich, you can a big waterfall behind the old wrecked house. But the thing is it's quite impossibly quiet, the silent surroundings that means danger and I'm not wrong! The moment we take another step I heard the gun clicking behind us.

Although I knew that we are being watched I still hold a facade that I don't feel it. These rogues are territorial it means they've been in this land for a long time, though they emit a foul smell there is a sweet scent lingering on their bodies and I even smell a baby's scent coming from underground.

A gun pointed at us, its high-quality guns and weapons it means that these wolves are updated with technologies or someone is providing them the said weapons.

They don't talk, just pointing a gun at us while glancing at each other. Using a hand signal to communicate, I watch them with surprise. They motioned Tine and Sarawat to hand over their weapons but the two pointed their guns at them.

"We don't mean any harm here, we just want to pass by! " Sarawat said. I heard a growl but I just ignore it, Pharm and Areyah look at me, Lucas is still wearing the smug smile that I wanted to hit him.

"I am here to meet your Alpha! " I said to them with a loud voice, I smell more wolves but my eyes don't see them, so I assume they are hiding undergrounds, so I make my voice loud and clear.

Throwing my weapons on the ground, I motioned my friends to do the same. They look at me confused but I just nod at them.

"We don't have an Alpha but we have a leader! But you can't meet him unless you have a present for him! " the rogue in a front grin at me looking at me from head to toe.

"So you guys can talk, why don't you bring out all your comrades that hiding underground!? " I saw his shocked face, he didn't expect that.

He held his gun higher and walk closer to me, his eyes is glowing yellow he is just an ordinary wolf.

"Who are you? And what do you want? " I look at him sternly, he grabs my hands and is about to knock me out but the moment his palm touches my skin it burns his hand. He screams in pain.

The horror is visible to everyone. Heck! It even surprises me also. I didn't know that I can burn a human wolf. Even Areyah look at me smiling, Lucas snorted.

"I am Type Nattarine Thiwat! " I said again in a loud voice so that the people hiding can hear my voice.

"Nattarine? " I heard one of the rogues repeat my name, so I look in his direction. I look at him in the eyes, he is confused, excited his heart beating fast, he glances at the old house and looks at me again.

A man is hiding behind the old house, so I think this rogue is trying to relay him a message.

"We will not fall on your tricks! " the man who has a burned palm yelled at me. Now it's my turn to think, "why does my name is so familiar to them".

"Let us meet your leader," Areyah said, she tried to walk towards me but Lucas held her hand glaring at me.

Suddenly an old man emerged behind the old house, he is walking slowly until he reaches the center ground a few meters away from us. He is looking at me intently as if trying to read me. I stare at him and smell his scent, he is not a rogue he has no foul smell.

His green eyes are intimidating prominent nose, a thin lips, he is old but you can say that he can kill.

"Come closer! " the old man said, the rogues give us away, but the old man speak again, "No! Only you Nattarine! " the way he speak my name gives warm feelings. I glance at my friends Areyah nod at me, but nervous and worried feelings are visible on Tine and Sarawat.
