Chapter 31. ROGUES

Type POV:

I woke up early, the surrounding is still dark. The tip of Tharn's manhood is still inside me, but it's soft already, I move away from a little and I groan by sudden empty feeling inside me, I heard my mates moan with a sudden pull. I giggled at our reaction.

His arms circle on my waist, so I slowly lift it, reaching a pillow to put it on his side, it serves as a fill-in. I'm sure he will wake up soon.

Walking to the bathroom, I took a shower and change into my favorite outfit, a hoodie, and denim jeans. I'm about to finish my morning routine when my ears caught voices from a far area of the mountain. I look at my mate who is still sleeping.

I look at the watch near the nightstand, 4:00 in the morning, it's still dark, and I'm sure once Tharn woke up and found out that I'm not there beside him he will make a ruckus early this morning.

The voices that I heard from the far side of the mountain are heating up, it's like they were arguing but still in a low calm voice. I decided to wake up Tharn so that I can solve whatever is happening in that area.

I walk beside my mate and kiss his lips lightly.

"Love... Wake up! " I gently caress his hair but he just hums and holds my hand and turns his back to me.

"Love... I have to go first, I'll be back before the sunrise! " I saw his eyes open wide and snapped his head, towards my direction.

"Why?!  Where are you going? I'll go with you! " his reaction is like a kid who doesn't want to be left alone in the house. He quickly gets off the bed and picks his clothes that lay on the floor. I pull him off to sit in my lap.

"Hey, calm down, I just heard voices in a south part of the mountain, I just want to check what it is, you can stay here, and sleep again! " I kissed his cheek and caress his back.

He leans his face on the crook of my neck, I just chuckle, the fact that he is fully naked, his cock is still in view.

"I'll just take a quick shower and then we'll go together! " he get up and headed towards the bathroom door but the voices that I heard is slowly fading, there is something inside me telling me to go now, so I mindlink Tharn that I need to go.

"Love I'll go first, follow me after you finished, I need to find out what's happening out there! " he agrees and just reminds me to be careful.

I ran in my wolf speed, and order the wind to array his presence so that I am aware of any danger. I even heard the leaves rustling every time I passed by.

I reach the area and saw some sentinels who is in charge of patrolling the territory. They look surprised by my sudden appearance, they don't expect me to be there, judging by the look in their eyes, confusion, and fear is visible on their faces.

"I heard a commotion in this area can you tell me what it is? " they glance at each other and it seems that they are debating on who will talk first.

"You!, tell me what happened?" I pointed to the sentinel in the center who is holding a gun.

"I'm sorry Alpha Type, but it's just a group of rogues !" Bowing his head and not making eye contact with me,

It's not appropriate to have eye contact with an Alpha when you talk. So I just let him.

"A group of rogues? Where are they? Did you guys kill them? " they glance at each other again, and I'm starting to lose my patience.

"No Alpha! It's a rule to not harm any rogues outside the territory! " the sentinel said.

"They are outside?  What are they doing here this early? I'm sure they have reasons why they are here? " I look at them one by one and I know already the answer to my question.
