Chapter 25. Emotion and Illusion

Type POV:

Shock is the understatement of what the old man Jules said, this traitor here is their leader. Yes! he is a traitor to our kind he sided with our enemy or just I thought?

Kao is looking at me intently he is ready for any attack from me but I feel old man Jules stare telling me to calm down and have a talk. Areyah arrived behind his back her eyes shifted between me and Kao.

My two friends who are now fully awake are waiting for any move.

"Talk! And make sure that I will understand your reason or else I will end your life right here! right now! " Kao heave a sigh as if he is waiting for those words from my mouth. He takes a step towards me so I stop him.

"I just said talk I didn't say you can come near me. " I sternly say.

He hold up his hand and step backward, I saw Lucas glaring at me. What is the problem with this guy!

"I need to be with the enemy to know their plan, the first time I saw you I didn't know that you are a wolf, until things happened I saw your photo in general Coinin's office it was marked as high profile subject so I got curious. General knows that I am wolf a rogue wolf means I have no pack to belong with so he gives some mission to prove my loyalty. I did everything he said until I gain his full trust, that way I can watch their every move and every plan. Believe me, I did everything for the pack's sake! " although his voice is clear it has a hint of begging.

"Is killing me is part of the mission? " I asked him directly with all the pack members listening and he shakes his head.

"The plan is to capture you alive and bring you to the secret laboratory! You don't know what kind of enemy you are dealing with Type, Coinin is a kind of devil you don't want to meet. " he sounds worried but I ignored him and walk away, I heard Lucas scoff so I halt on my track and look at him.

He glared at me with the same intensity as mine, the urge to kill him in this instance is so much that I can feel my wolf wanted to take over. I saw Areyah saying something but I was too deaf to hear that because of my anger. I walk towards Lucas and held his shirt but he just grin at me.

I'm about to punch him but he catches my fist using his left hand. He held my shoulder using his right hand and in just a second I was thrown away, his strength is quite abnormal for a normal wolf. I saw Sarawat stride towards him but he was held from where he's standing as if someone is holding him to stay still but no one is there.

I look at Lucas who has a green eye, he smiles at me devilishly so I stand up and run towards him to attack him but once again he calculate my moves and got a kick from him, the force from throw my body beside the waterfall I'm soaking wet, I feel my lips bleeding.

"How can you be a chosen one when you can't even touch a mere guardian, you are just like anyone here, you can't save your kind. " his words ignite the fire in me, but slap me with the truth. I feel my body aching,

"what is happening, I can heal just fine before but now I feel like I'm helpless! " I close my eyes only to see Raven looking at me. He blinks his deep crystal blue eyes.

"Emotion, your emotion as a human is our weakness, we should learn how to control it," Raven said.

Realization hit me, it's a part of my training but why did the guardian let the whole pack watch me. I open my eyes Lucas is in front of me and not wasting any time he kicks me on my face, my body rolling on the rocky part of the waterfall. I try to stand up when I saw him walking slowly towards me but my body give up. My nose is bleeding and my lips are cut, it's not healing just like before.
