Chapter 34. Intruders

Tharn POV;

Two days have passed after the message from Kao. Everyone got busy preparing everything, from the houses to accommodate the new allies, to the expansion of the training ground and weapons to used.

My mate has been busy also on his training, sometimes we just get startled with a sudden blow of a strong wind, or sometimes it rained in the middle of hot weather. The fire element is his expertise, he can easily tame it in a snap, the guardian said it's in his nature as a chosen.

I was lost in my world when one of the warriors mindlink to me that Alpha Kao has arrived. I mind linking everyone to prepare everything and all to welcome them. I tried to mind link Type but I guess he closed his link and focused on his training.

Not far from the packhouse, I saw the group approaching like a group of armies. And based on their scent they came from a different pack. Kao walking in front with a stoic face together with some warriors from the Silver Lining pack.

Anticipating, my heartbeat rapidly at last we found some allies to help us. They stop in front of us, Betas and Gammas together with some other warriors bow their heads for respect while the Alphas do the handshaking. I look around and saw some women with them.

"Welcome to the midnight pack, everyone! " I speak in my Alpha voice loud enough for everyone to hear me. They bow their heads once more and smile at each other. I glance at Kao his eyes roaming around looking for someone, I can't point out who he is looking for, his mate or Type.

"Up is preparing the packed clinic alpha Kao, just in case some of you need medical treatment, exhausted from a long journey! " I told them but my eyes are fixated on Kao only.

"Thank you Alpha Tharn! " he smiled, he is smart to understand what I'm trying to say.

I heaved a sigh and calm myself, I'm about to speak when I saw Type walking towards us smiling. He walks elegantly, the rays of the sunlight on his skin make his appearance glow more. He is shining literally.

I look around only to find out the amazement and admiration from everyone. Mouth agape eyes sparkling looking at my mate, some alphas look at him with lust on their eyes. That makes me want to lose my cool, but was comforted by a sudden voice of my mate inside our mind link saying "I love you alpha Tharn! " I smiled abruptly.

All eyes followed his every move, as he stand next to me their eyes went wide. I wrap his waist with my arms, showing everyone who he belongs to.

"Everyone, this my mate Type Nattarine, the future luna of Midnight Pack and the chosen one! " the warriors and other wolves in lower rank folded their one knee on the ground and bow their heads on my mate.

"It's a great honor to serve you chosen one! " one of the Alpha said. I saw my mate smiling and calm. I want to tell him to stop smiling because that's one of the reasons why everyone is falling for him. I erased that thought, but his hand tighten on my arms I forgot that he can read minds.

"As much as I want to know everyone I'd like you to take a rest first, let's meet for dinner tonight, we will have a small celebration! " my mate said, everyone, clapped and exchanged pleasantries.

The pack omegas whose in charge to accommodate them leads the way to their respective houses. I saw Kao glance at my mate but got caught by Type, they exchange a happy smile and I just rolled my eyes.

Type look at me and shook his head.

"Stop that jealousy love! I'm only yours! " he kissed my cheek and drag me inside our house.
