Chapter 28. Saving Tharn and the fire element

Type POV;

The moment those words came out of Kao's mouth, I feel my world crumble. I looked at him reading his expression expecting that he just trying to piss me off again, but no! He is dead serious.

Areyah and Lucas stare at me and wait for what I'm going to do.

"What do you mean Kao? " Lucas asked him.

"One of the members in general's side mind link me to go back to the base for there is another mission given, he said that they found where the chosen one is, so I got confused on how they found out, the information came from the Alpha of the midnight pack!"

I looked at him confused, Tharn said that I'm in the moonstone pack territory? So it means that he is planning something.

"So where is the danger there? Alpha Tharn lied to them, he knows who the traitor in his pack is, so he planned it! " I told Kao but a sudden worry stirs up inside me.

No! He is planning to attack the enemy on the moonstone pack territory. I look at Kao with wide eyes. "Don't tell me! " he nods at me, "when? " still looking at him.

" He is planning a war there the day after tomorrow! And your mate underestimates the general Type, a trap is prepared for him and his member! " with worried eyes I can say that Kao is really on our side.

And he is right, General Coinin is smart, you can't outsmart him with just a single word. He reaches the top because of his greediness, selfishness, and smart mind. He is a devil disguised in human form.

I walk back to the packhouse and start packing my things, telling Sarawat and Tine to do the same. Areyah and Lucas are just watching me. I tried to mind link Tharn but I can't get in, I even mind linking Pharm but I think he is talking to Areyah.

"You know that we still have one more element to tame right? " Lucas stands in front of me trying to catch my attention.

I take a deep breath and look at him.

"I know! But I can practice it on our journey back to the midnight mountain. " I simply answered him, my mind was occupied by mixed emotion that I don't have energy left to argue with him.

"Type! Fire is the most complicated element of all, it's dangerous, suffocating. If you failed to tame it all this training will be useless! " Lucas grab my arm when I'm about to leave the room carrying my bag with me.

I glared at him and look at his hand on my arm and think that I'm burning it, I was startled when he screamed in pain. Areyah run towards us and saw Lucas with his burned hand.

"I will tame it because it's within me! " I said to Lucas referring to the fire element. I can burn those who Dare to touch me without my permission.

I grab his hand and heal it, his mouth agape!

"I knew you never trust me enough as a chosen, but don't dare to stop me when it comes to my mate, I'm willing to offer my life to all wolf kind as well as for my mate. " I leave them in the room.

I step outside only to see the waiting crowd. Old man Jules is standing in front with Kao beside him, some pack members are intently looking at me with pleading eyes. This is the remnant of my father's pack.

They bow their heads to me and show their neck for submissions, my heart clenched with the sight. I walk towards old man Jules and held his hands and hugged him. I took a deep breath before straightening myself up.

"I will leave for now to save my mate, protect the territory for this is ours. Although I am the son of Alpha Andrew I am not qualified to be your Alpha. I meet my mate and the midnight pack before you guys, so... " I gulp hard and took a long deep breath. "I am presenting you, Alpha Kao, as your new Alpha of Silver lining pack, and I Type Nattarine chosen of the wolf's kind, I will protect you until I die! " everyone kneels and bow their heads, I saw Kao with tears in his eyes.
