"Midnight Howling" (COMPLETED)

Chapter 27. 4 Elements

Type POV:

AIR;
Areyah and Lucas brought me to the deserted part of the forest, no trees, no flowers nothing! just a plain piece of land. The first task is air.
I have to subdue its blow.

Standing alone in the middle I can hear what Lucas said.

"Remember Type, the air is everywhere you can feel it anytime, its a life. You must know where it came from or where it will go whether to the east north-south or west summoned it. Taming needs the patience to use your sense of hearing, the air blows in every direction just like in a war, enemies are everywhere so you must be alert, the melodious sound of each blow will give you a warning, serenity, and calmness. " Lucas walked away.

As the wind strikes its first blow an arrow flies in my direction, I have to avoid it without leaving the small circle that Lucas has drawn before he leaves. I don't need to catch it but I need to succeed in ordering the wind to stop it before it will hit me.

The first three arrows are so easy to avoid, but then Lucas joined Areyah in releasing the arrows at the same time. I was hit on my hands, arms even in my face but they didn't stop they keep on releasing the arrows.

"If you keep on avoiding it and not trying to summon the first element we will waste a day here! " Lucas said on mindlink.

I was panting I fell many times, as I feel the wind blows I close my eyes and slowly stand up the arrow has been hitting me. And slowly I feel my surrounding become quiet, but I heard the wind is coming from a different direction like a hurricane. Slowly I open my eyes and found myself inside the big tornado.

"You summoned it now you have to tame it or else it will never come to you again! " Areyah said.

I closed my eyes again, and saw Raven doing the same, slowly I move my hands drawing a circle and slowly expanding my fingers then close my palm moving it upward, and quickly open my eyes releasing my hands forward drawing a circle, I saw the tornado slowly fading and a clear surrounding suddenly appeared, the cool wind blowing on my body but I feel the warm air also.

I look in the direction where the guardians are standing, now they signal me that they will release arrows I have to stop it hanging in the air. The arrows fly towards me and I put my hand up making a circle, my eyes fix on the arrows, and as they travel nearer I clasp my two hands as if it shielding me my eyes went wide when the arrows hang in the air and as I put down my hand it drops outside my circle.

I saw Areyah and Lucas hug each other because of happiness, it means I succeeded.

WATER;

After I tamed the air I feel like it's following me everywhere, I know it's everywhere but it's a different feeling for me, I feel like I am guarded, I feel like they were there as a shield.

Now I'm standing in the deepest part of the waterfall. Facing the falls of water while my body was soaked in it, I shiver when a cold wind blow, I think they are bullies also.

The mission is to stop it from flowing, and just like the wind, I have to tame it. Lucas and Areyah are standing on the highest part of the mountain to where the streams of this waterfall came from they held their bows and arrows but this time Kao and other warriors are joining. I have to use the water as the weapon to stop the arrows before it will hit me.

"But how?" I asked myself.

But suddenly I remember when I am stretching the water from small droplets but when I put down my arms the droplets of Waters disappeared also. Areyah releases the first arrow followed by another one from Lucas and another from Kao. My heart panic because I'm not sure what to do. The arrow pierces my shoulder and I feel that I am wounded at the back also. I saw the water turn red because of my blood.
