Trust (Chapter 13)

At this point he was confused. He hoped that coming to see Dixie was going to make her feel better, but obviously it was the exact opposite. He didn't want to show how nervous he actually was though, so instead of questioning her he just went along not wanting to cause any issues. "Ok, Is everything alright?" He was genuinely worried. They had just gotten together, they said they loved each other. The last thing they needed was to end.

"I don't know am I? You've been acting so weird. I called Bryce asking how your meeting went and he said you didn't have a meeting, meaning you lied to me. Am I fine now? Or do I need to explain more." Dixie just went for it. She was done holding back her feelings like she always did. "Dixie you don't unders-" before he could say another word, Dixie cut him off.

"I do understand, completely. Noah I trusted you, I said that I loved you. And look what I get in return. You lying to me." She didn't feel bad for saying this. She was sick and tired of holding back how she felt. "I'm going to stop you right there. The only thing that I've shown you since I met you was respect and love. And don't forget, I said that I love you too, which I do, more than anything In the world. But obviously this just proves that you don't trust me. You calling Bryce was just an example of that. I have tried to make you as comfortable as possible, knowing what you've been through. But I am not going to waste my time." Noah had never felt this way about Dixie before. He still loved her, but was it enough to save this relationship.

"So now I'm just a waste of your time?" Dixie said having a huge scoff exit her mouth. "If your not gonna trust me then yes, you are. I already said I love you, and I will say it again. But you acting like this is showing me that you don't love me." Noah was more confused than ever. He thought that Dixie knew how much he loved her but tonight he discovered the exact opposite.

"Wow, so I don't love you?" Dixie didn't even know what she was more mad at right now. Noah or the whole situation. "Well I don't know if you do. I came over to see my girlfriend, who I missed very much and now I have a feeling she's gonna break up with me." He said it. "Are you blaming me!! You lied to me!" There it goes. The yelling finally started. "Do you wanna know why I fucking lied to you!!" Noah didn't want to lose her so he gave up. " are you just gonna lie again" Dixie said in the brattiest time possible. "If you think of me like that, then I don't think I should be here" Noah said as he tried to leave. He wasn't going to fight for someone that doesn't have any trust in him. "Wait!! Don't leave, just explain. Please." Dixie didn't expect him to give up that easily.

"What's the point. You don't believe nor trust me. So no matter what I say, it's gonna sound like a lie to you" Noah said turning around but not getting any closer. "Just say it, please." Dixie said getting closer and grabbing his arm. "I was planning something for you. You haven't talked to any of your fiends or hung out with them since the situation with a Griffin. J wanted to surprise you, and now was a perfect time since you just got your own place. I lied so that you wouldn't figure out. But here I am, telling you, before it happened." He slightly nudged her hand off of his arm. " I wa- nt to beil- eve tha-t your tell- ing the tr- uth." She had been on a streak. She hasn't cried or felt why but of sadness, and tonight she broke that when she burst out into tears.

Noah hated seeing her cry. He would've killed himself so that she didn't cry. So seeing her break down made him regret everything he said. "Dixie I need you to believe me." He said getting closer and cupping her face, wiping her tears. "Just believe me. You know I would never hurt you. I love you more than life. Just please, trust me." His heart broke for Dixie and himself. He thought after the first conversation they had that this wouldn't happen, but it did. "Prove it to me. That the only way I can believe you." Dixie said as she gripped his arms, which were holding her face. "Do you want me to show you the messag-" Before Noah could finish Dixie cut him of. "Not that, show me that you love me. Prove it to me. Show much do you love me truly." Was she ready for what might go down next... no, but did she need this.. partially yes.

"Fine." That the only thing Noah managed to get out before kissing her. That anger that had started of the kiss, slowly turned into love and passion. Dixie went along. Knowing that Noah knew what she meant made her happy enough to keep going. She wrapped her arms around his neck and slowly started playing with his hair. The kiss was begging to grow more intense by the second. Noah brought his arms down to her legs, picking her up, without breaking the kiss of course. But before continuing he needed to ask a question. "Dixie, do you trust me now?" "Mhm, more than anything in the world." She did trust him. Not as much as she was saying though. She wanted what was about to happen next and she knew if she told him that she still dint trust him completely he would've stopped.

With that Noah continued kissing Dixie until she stopped asking to go to the bedroom. Noah listened to her command and started walking to her room not dating to break the kiss. He was about to lay her down on the bed. He was easy to begin a new chapter with Dixie until......

"Knock knock"
