Resolving problems (Chapter:19)

Addisons POV: If I'm being completely honest, I was glad to see that Dixie wanted to me to come and talk. Mostly because it actually seemed like she cared. I have spent a lot of time in the past 2 weeks trying to think I'm from her perspective. I've grown to realize that there was a very clear reason for Dixie to not tell me. I still wish she would've at least talked to me, but after what happened, I can't get mad at her for feeling a certain way.

While I was walking out of my apartment, going down to hers, I realized that she's happy. I wanted so badly to think that that was because she wasn't as close to me anymore, but it wasn't. She found Noah. I haven't yet seen to much on their relationship, but I could tell she loved him. A lot.

*end of Addisons POV*

When she knocked on the door both Dixie and Noah quickly glanced at each other, giving a short sweet kiss before opening the door. They had both agreed in not showing affection in front of Addison, just in case it didn't make her feel comfortable.

When get opened the door Addison quickly glanced at Noah before looking back at Dixie. She wasn't exactly sure why Noah was there, since Dixie dint say anything in the text, but she was assuming it was important because he opened the door with her.

Dixie didn't want to make any more until she knew that Addison was okay with it. But, she also wanted to hug her best friend. It was really hard for Dixie to stay strong in this situation. She wanted to show Addison that she was serious about their friendship.

Without a warning Addison quickly jumped on Dixie, almost knocking her down. She had also intended on ok being more 'professional', but once she saw Dixie, she just couldn't not hug her.

Dixie was taken astonished by Addisons sudden reaction, but she didn't hesitate hugging back. She was glad she hugged her of course, but she just didn't expect it. She had expected for her to be completely cold and harsh.

Noah was kinda standing there awkwardly. He didn't want to leave, knowing Dixie wouldn't like that, but it was a little uncomfortable just standing there.

He wanted to let them talk a bit by themselves. But he also didn't want to leave since Dixie made it clear she wanted him to stay. So he came up with a great way to leave for a bit, and then come back.

Once they exchanged their hug, Noah and Addison quickly said hi. There was awkward tension in the room. No one really seems to be able to start a conversation, or even move out of the door way. That was until Noah decided to speak up.

"I obviously need to let you to talk so I'm gonna go. What do you guys want to eat? I'll go get for while you talk." He was quite hungry, and he knew Dixie hadn't eaten so it was a perfect opportunity.

Without a second of hesitation Addison and Dixie both spoke up. "CHIPOTLE!" Noah chuckled to himself, amazed by how quickly their faces lit up when he mentioned food. I guess food really was the way to a girls heart.

"Okay, chipotle it is then. I already know your orders so don't worry. I'll be back in 30 minutes." Noah had a flashback to a night that him and Dixie stayed up talking. She had told him her favorite orders from multiple food places, and she very frequently mentioned Addison as well.

"Okay thank you!" They both spoke up again. Noah and Dixie looked at each other before he reached for the door knob. They had obviously wanted to kiss, but they had obviously agreed on being PG-13.

Addison had obviously noticed quickly since she spoke up before Noah left. " you know I know right. Just kiss, because your making it more awkward for me when your looking at each other like that."

They both laughed at Addisons words before leaning in and exchanging a short, sweet, but passionate kiss. "Okay bye baby, I love you. Be back soon!" Before closing the door Dixie quickly spoke back "bye, love you more!"

Addison giggled at how cute they were before looking at Dixie with a more serious face. They both tried looking at each other seriously, but both ended up laughing sat each other.

They messed around just a bit monger before actually starting the conversation. They were obviously fine, but they still wanted to clear up anything that might get in the way of their friendship in the future.

They had talked about their friendship, and how no matter what they're doing, they still have to see each other very day. They had promised each other that they would at least have an hour everyday to hang out.

Addison talked about her relationship with Bryce. And Dixie did the same with Noah. Addison was clearly very invested in their relationship since she kept on asking questions.

By the time Noah came back with their food, they had resolved all their problems and were as good as new. "I'm back!" "Yayyyy!" Dixie jumped up and down, making her way towards Noah, hugging him. Luckily she had placed the bags on the table already, because he most definitely would've dropped it.

While they were hugging, Addison made her way to the table, rummaging through the bags until she found her food. She was surprised with how Noah actually knew her order.

The rest of the day all three of them hung out. They ate food, watched movies, and made a few TikTok. They knew people were going to ship them even more, but they were having fun and really didn't care.

Addison was amazed with the cuteness of their relationship. She had known gm that they meant a lot to each other, but seeing it was way better.

They had an amazing day until Addison had to go back to her apartment at around 1:00 a.m. Noah had stayed with Dixie and they both went to sleep almost immediately.

Today was a huge step for Dixie. She got more progress in a few hours with Noah and Addison, then she had in 2 weeks by herself.

There was still a lot she had to work on, but she had a feeling everything would be just fine, since she had all these perfect people in her life. That was enough for Dixie to be able to sleep at night.
