Nuggies? (Chapter:20)

It had now been 2 weeks since Addison and Dixie made up, and life couldn't have been better. Dixie was finally starting to hang out with her friends again and Noah got way more comfortable in L.A. He even got a new car. They're relationship was also going spectacular.

Dixie still hadn't completely cleared things up about Griffin so she didn't want to make her and Noah's relationship online yet, but she didn't mind posting a few videos with him here and there.

Addisons been working really hard recently and had to leave California to film for the movie she's in. Dixie as super supportive of her but at the same time and little sad since she was going to be gone for 3 months.

Addison was the only person she felt really comfortable with and without her Dixie felt a little worried. She knew she could come to Noah, obviously, but not when she needed to talk about certain topics.

She was also a little down since Noah hadn't been hanging out much with her. He hadn't been spend the nights as often which made her a little worried. She saw that he was always posting with Curtis and wherever he would go, Curtis would too.

She couldn't help but feel jealous. She knew Noah was just getting comfortable, but without him to hold her at night, she had trouble sleeping. She wanted to have more time with him, even if it was around other people.

Noah's POV: I know what Dixie thinks. No a matter how much she says it's fine, I know she wants me to be with her more. It's not like I don't want to. Its just. When I first came to California I met her, and I focused on her. I didn't even get to know my roommates, instead I hung out with her. and obviously she's the love of my life and I'm glad I did, but at the same time it put me behind. So I've been spending the last 2 weeks getting comfortable. So when I go back to hanging out with my baby, I didn't feel like I have to do anything, or feel like I'm missing out on something.

I've also been hanging out with Curtis a lot. He been reeling me how he and Dixie always went to Malibu and how they took the BEST photos ever. Which got me thinking. Malibu is such a special place for us, and onus of it is for Curtis and Dixie to. So me and Curtis have been planning a little weekend getaway to Malibu, just the 3 of us.

I also know this will get her mind off of Addison leaving.

*End of Noah's POV*

Dixies POV: Noah texted me 20 minutes ago saying to get ready. He left out major details but mentioned that he brought a friend with. I'm assuming it's Curtis, and if it is then I'm good. Before Noah came, me and Curtis actually had an awesome friendship. We went everywhere together, and he would occasionally spend the night if he stayed too late, even if it as at my parents house.

He told me to get enough things for the weekend. I didn't want to get much since I knew I was going to steal one of his sweatshirts anyway, so I just packed one pair of shorts, 2 shirts, and sandals. The rest of what I'm going to wear is going to be Noah's wardrobe.

I packed a few other necessities like my toothbrush, and a bit of makeup. I didn't wear makeup often, but in case I needed to, I was prepared.

Just like that an hour passed and I hear my phone go off. My lovely boyfriend had texted me telling me to come downstairs because he arrived.

*End of Dixies POV*

Dixie made her way downstairs and before she could even put her things in Noah's car, he had lifted her off of her feet, embracing her in a hug. Dixie stood there shocked for a bit after he put her down, but soon reacted by hugging him herself.

No one else's knew about their relationship, Noah didn't even mention it to Curtis, so let's just say, Curtis was most definitely shocked. Especially after Dixie had grabbed Noah's neck and brought him in a for a short, but passionate kiss.

Noah didn't plan on doing all that yet, just because he was worried about how Dixie would react, but after seeing her come downstairs, wearing his hoodie, he couldn't help himself.

They both in tangled from each other and Noah grabbed Dixies things, placing them in his trunk. Dixie and Curtis greeted each other, after not seeing each other for a while. They both caught up in about 40 second before they were interrupted by Noah yelling at them to get in the car.

During the car ride to Malibu they all stared hanging out more as a trio. They were discussing drama, and Curtis had fun being the third wheel a few times throughout the drive. Curtis was originally going to sit in the front, but after seeing Noah and Dixie, he settled for the back.

Noah and Dixie didn't do what they typically did on their car rides because they didn't want to make Curtis feel extremely awkward but sometimes they just couldn't help but tangle their hands together.

The rest of the car drive consisted of Curtis making fun of the two lovebirds, Noah and Dixie expressing their relationship, and talking about how they should come up with a group name. They thought of the 'nuggies' and I have a feeling that it will stick.

They all had an excellent time in the car before finally arriving to Malibu, ready to have some fun this weekend.

This chapter sucks and it's super short but it important in the book so I'm dealing with it. Anywaysss this past week was super stressful for me, which is why if didn't update but I'm better now and I'm ready to update frequently again :) I think I might update again when I get back from schoool.... we'll seee 👀 luvvv you guyss❤️
