The internet can be a wild place sometimes, especially for Dixie. she gets hated on for everything she does, she cant even say hi without trying to get canceled. And Noah, well let's just say he says a few things without thinking which can get him in major trouble on the internet.
They both knew announcing thing right now, especially because Dixie had just announced that she and Griffin broke up, but they just wouldn't take it anymore. They both wanted to be able to go out with one another, hold hands, and occasionally share a kiss when they're out in public.
The news has spread quickly and sook the whole internet knew about their relationship. But a lot had a different view on it. People had thought on joe Noah broke "bro code" even tho they were never "bros" and how Dixie was a "hoe" because she moved on fast.
They both surprisingly reacted pretty well though. They knew that they shouldn't take what haters say to heart cause only them and the important people in their life now what's true.
It was a little overwhelming though. The only people who knew about their relationship was Addison and Curtis, not even their parents knew, or Charli. Dixie felt bad that this was the way they found out, but she also thought maybe it was the best way.
Chris was overwhelmed with their sudden action. This whole weekend he had been covering for them and now, all of a sudden he doesn't have to anymore. It was just weird. Especially because of all the tea with "Grixie".
They didn't want people knowing that a few of the comments were disturbing, but they thought they should make a few thing clear because they didn't add much detail in their tweets. So they tweeted out again.
Noahs tweet: I just wanted to clear up a few things since people want to make assumptions. Dixie and I had felt something the first night that we met, which also happened to be the first night we got close. To make something else clear, Griffin and I weren't ever "bros" I had only known him for 5 minutes and I found Dixie to be better. I am happy with Dixie, and she moved on so respect that. I respected her and waited for her to be ready, for both of us to be ready, and now that we are I'm not explaining any thing anymore. We are both happier than ever, and we don't need any one else's opinions. And for those who look up to us and "ship us" I hope we made you happy:) hope this clears everything up😌
Noah was going to say more than he did, but after the lecture he got my Dixie about not saying "stupid things" he kept a few things out of his tweet. He also wanted Dixie to clear up things about Griffin instead of him taking Amit someone he barley knew.
Dixies tweet: I don't want to have to talk about this again so please read this, and if you don't want to, then don't complain:) I took my time with Noah as I found necessary. I broke up with Griffin the first night I found out, which also happened to be the night I met Noah. I broke up with Griffin and Noah comforted me the whole time even though he barley knew me. I am extremely grateful to have moved onto someone who know how to treat me correctly, and who actually loves me. I respected Griffin and I's relationship it's over, and I don't plan on taking about again. I loved on and I'm happy, so please respect that. I love all you guys who support us, we both do🤍🤍
Dixie admitted that she sounded a little heartless, but that was the only way people would actually listen to her. She was done being nice, especially because this was her business, not any strangers.
It didn't really matter what anyone else thought though. The only thawing that actually mattered was that Noah and Dixie were happy and they they slept good at night. Which is something that they were able to very well based of the fact they fell right asleep after Curtis dropped them off.
