Taraa's POV
I was focussed on my computer screen, sitting on my chair in the office.
"Let's go grab lunch!" Yongsang said, turning his chair to face me.
"Just a minute. Let me run this one." I replied. "Done. Let's go." I said, a bit later and got up.
"Taraa, Yongsang! Here!" Jinhee waved at us. It seemed she had already occupied us a table.
Okay so, Jinhee. Lee Jinhee. She was someone whom I had met when I was in my first year of university. Her parents were Korean and I dunno why but they had sent her to India for studies. Although we were in completely different courses, our friendship had blossomed due to similar taste in books. Other than books, we are much different. She is a beautiful and extrovert girl with a lively personality. She is really fast in making friends with new people while I don't socialize much.
I do not call her my best friend because that's just so...common. Besides that, best friendships have always been a failure for me. She is like my secret keeper. What I can't tell anybody, I tell her without hesitation.
"Anything new?" she asked, as she swallowed her food. I and Yongsang shook our heads. She is someone who will have the full information about the latest gossips going around in the office.
"Jinhee." She looked up as a petite boy called her name. "Madam is calling you." he informed.
"Me?" she confirmed, pointing at herself. The guy nodded and walked away. "Shit! Did I do something wrong?" she mumbled as she got up and went away.
She came back after a few minutes with her mouth slightly open and slumped down on the chair.
"You alright? What happened?" I asked, concerned.
"She chose me." Jinhee replied.
"For what?" Yongsang questioned.
"For discussing schedule with BTS." she replied and looked at us.
"I seriously don't have a single idea what you are talking about." I said.
"Okay, so listen. As you know, BTS are the brand ambassadors of Samsung Korea. So for every advertisement, our seniors meet them to discuss their schedule or the best date for launching of a product. And today was gonna be the same, but madam had some real urgent work and she wants me to go in her place." she said in one breath.
"That's amazing!" Yongsang punched her arm lightly.
"Why me?!" she groaned.
"Do you know how many people would kill to be in your place? And she must have chosen you because of your personality." I said, pinching her cheeks. She made a face and started poking her food with a fork.
The reason she doesn't want to do it is probably because she is not an ARMY. I still don't understand how's that possible, but leave it. She respects them and my love for them, but according to her, its just not her taste. Hence, to avoid any embarrassment in front of them, she was trying to run away from this.
"Hey, can't you come with me? Please!" Jinhee pleaded to me. Just then, Yongsang's phone rang and he excused himself.
"How's that possible? My sector is totally different." I stated.
