"Does the sun promise to shine?
No, but it will,
even behind the darkest clouds it will.
And no promise will make it shine longer or brighter,
for that is its fate,
to burn until it can burn no more.
So, to love you is not my promise,
it is my fate,
to burn until I can burn no more."-Atticus

Taraa's POV
I woke up to find a note beside my spectacles.
'I have prepared the breakfast. You might need to heat it up.
I am not sure when I will return.
Eat well and take care. :-)'
I smiled looking at the cute note written in a very neat handwriting.
I got up and after brushing and everything, I went in the living area to find sandwiches and juice on the dining table.
After dropping a thank you message to Jungkook, I munched on the sandwich. It tasted just as I had remembered.
Nothing had changed. It was just like before.
I cleaned up the dishes and also the house as it seemed a bit dirty and I was bored. It wad already past noon after I had bathed myself.
Not wanting to cook anything, I asked Jinhee if she was free so we could eat lunch together somewhere.
She was, so we ended up meeting at our usual restaurant.
"So, tell me one thing. Regarding Jung-"
"NO! Enough about me." I cut Jinhee off abruptly, knowing what topic she would be starting. Not that I didn't want to discuss about it with her, but my excitement to know about her story preceded anything else right now. "You tell me. I thought someone really hated"- I did Jinhee's impression- "a very proud, obnoxious, annoying, rude person."
She blushed and looked down, not meeting my eyes.
"Cat got your tongue, bitch?" I pressed.
"Fine! I realised..." she took a long pause.
"What? You realised what?" I was getting impatient and wanted her to finally admit it.
"I realised that he is not that bad!" she said in one go.
"Oh yeah? Wanna add anything else?"
"No. What else?"
"You left the part where you say that he is an amazing person whom you love from the bottom of your heart and couldn't bear to stay away from and that he has become the center of your being." I finished and she broke into a laughter loud enough to gain stares from a few tables.
"What the fuck" -she said in between fits of laughter- "has gotten into you?"
"You really think that you can mask the truth by laughing like that in front of me? Me?" I pointed.
