"If my fate is to disappear like this, then this is my last letter
Penned words, written then erased
Feelings for you, so many to let go
Unpuzzle my lego
At a level where it can't return to its original shape
So be it don't cry, I'mma let you go and fly
What have you been up to lately?
Who are you thinking of so far away?
Life without you is really unbelievable
But even so I still gotta go
To the person I loved too much
To the red thread that got too entangled in itself
I couldn't reach you, so I'll walk a separate path
For that reason, I'll say goodbye"

Taraa's POV

I waited patiently for the person who would occupy the seat on the other side of the big glass.

Soon enough, he came accompanied by a police officer. The officer removed his handcuffs and the person sat in front of me.

Do-hyun picked up the telephone on his side and I picked up mine.

"Hello?" I tested.

"Hello." he replied, then continued after a pause. "You are back, Daisy."

I nodded.

"Didn't I tell you to not come here anymore? Its not good for you." he said, looking at me seriously. He even looked angry.

"I remember. Mr. Man told me that you didn't want to meet me. But I had to."

"What is it?" he asked, looking concerned for the first time.

"I just came here to meet you one last time."

"What do you mean?"

"I am leaving South Korea. Permanently." I answered.

"Why? Is everything okay?" he questioned.

"Yeah, yeah. It is. I just want to go back to my parents." I answered.

"And what about that guy? The one with whom you are so in love with? I believed he was someone from Korea only."

"Yeah, he was." I replied. Do-hyun raised his eyebrows, signalling me to continue. "We broke up."

"Oh?" There was a pause. "Did he hurt you in any way?" he asked, eyes big.

"No, no, Sunflower." I chuckled softly at his protectiveness. "He was a good person. Things just didn't work out for us."

He nodded in understanding.

"So, yeah. That's why I am here today. To just meet you for the last time." I said, changing the topic. "As far as I remember, isn't your sentence ending soon?"

"It is." he replied, giving me a small smile. "In three months, I will be a free man once again."

I smiled widely at him.

A guard, different from the one that had been there when I had come here for the first time, came to inform me that my visiting time was almost over.
