Roses For Captain Man 4

(In the basement of a building, a man is wearing gloves as he tends to hundreds of rose bushes that are beautifully arranged in front of him. A lady stands next to him wearing a white coat.)

Dr Minyak: (Softly) "Ah, soon the whole of Swellview will get a taste of my super tranquilizing rose oil and fall into a deep sleep." (He adds evilly) "While I pillage and plunder the city to waste."

Nurse Cohort: "Um, doesn't pillage and plunder mean, like, the same thing?"

Dr Minyak: (Rolls his eyes at her) "I know that they do."

(Three men come in)

Dr Minyak: "Ah, my goons have arrived. Tell me, have you planted my roses all over Swellview?"

Goon #1: "Yes, we've supplied roses to every tissue making company and cosmetics company. We placed them by park and by the roadside so people can smell them or touch them when they walk past."

Dr Minyak: (Snickers) "Lovely! With Captain Man in a deep slumber, there will be no one to stop me from taking over."

Nurse Cohort: "But what about his sidekick, Kid Danger?"

Dr Minyak: (Glares at her sharply) "Do you think I'm scared of that boy? He's just a child."

(In the Man Cave, Piper and Henry have arrived to join Schwoz and Jasper. Charlotte has been placed in her own sleeping chamber next to Ray, and the squad are figuring out how to wake them up while listening to Trent give the news updates)

Trent: "A news update. Many citizens of Swellview have begun to fall into a deep sleep after coming in contact with roses by the roadside. And as you can see, Mary isn't here with me today because of this as she happened to be one of those unfortunate roadside flower sniffers."

Henry: (Presents the petals to Schwoz) "I found these in the park. Apparently, the rose planter had been there before I was."

Schwoz: "I'll run a test on them right now." (Takes the petals and puts them in a small tube filled with chemical)

Piper: (Eating from a bowl) "How did Charlotte fall asleep anyway?"

Jasper: "Schwoz said that there was a possibility that Charlotte had come in contact with the roses without knowing it."

Henry: "But I touched the roses and I'm fine."

Schwoz: "The roses are harmless, but their thorns are what is bed news."

Henry: (Catches sight of Piper opening a rose fragranced tissue box) "You could be wrong Schwoz. Piper, let me see that."

Piper: "See what?" (Pulls out a tissue and raises one to her nose)

Henry: "No!" (Dives at her. They tumble over the couch, and the tissue falls out of Piper's grip)

Piper: (Gets up looking angry) "What is wrong with you?"

Henry: (Gets up too and points at the tissue) "The thing is in there. I had to stop you from using it to wipe your face or else you'd fall asleep too."

Piper: "I already knew that. I was just gonna sniff the darn tissue."

(Schwoz puts on a glove and goes over to pick up the tissue then puts it in another tube. After running his tests, both the petal and the tissue release a blue color in their tubes)

Schwoz: "Henry is right. Look!"

Jasper: "Whoa! So the rose really was in the tissue."

Piper: "Yeah, and I bet it was some kind of oil."

Henry: "Now, we just need to know how to wake Ray and Charlotte, and who's causing everyone to go to sleep and. . ." (Looks at his hands, they are turning blue)

Piper: "Henry? Henry, your hands!"

Henry: (shrieks briefly) "Schwoz, can you create an antidote now that we have the petals?"

Schwoz: "Yes, I can."

Piper: (On her phone) "I think I might know where this rose farmer is."

Jasper: "You do?"

Piper: "Yeah. Girls have been going crae for a new rose scented perfume that was released over two weeks ago. My friend, Marla, uses one of these. So, I got one too."

Henry: "No wonder you smell like a rose bush."

Piper: "No, I didn't use it. I just bought it to compare with some of the other products that also have rose fragrances like the tissues you knocked off me."

Jasper: "And, are they the same thing?"

Piper: "Duh! (Walks over to the screen, Jasper and Henry follow) I tracked down where the most rose flower deliveries came from and it pointed to this location."

Henry: "Good. That rose planter is definitely there." (Pulls out his gumball)

Jasper: "Henry, you can't go. You're turning blue. You don't know when you might fall asleep."

Schwoz: "Bah bah bah, Henry has hyper motility, remember? He isn't just fast on the outside."

Piper: "What do you mean?"

Schwoz: "I mean that the roses won't have any effect on Henry for a long time because his hyper motility is shlowing it down inside his body."

Henry: "That's good enough." (Blows a bubble) "Charlotte and Ray are gonna wake up in no time. Schwoz, you just get that antidote ready."

Jasper: "Y'know it's kinda nice not hearing Ray yell and Charlotte tell us what to do."

Piper: "Yeah, I noticed how quiet it is without them here. Schwoz, could you keep a little bit of rose oil just in case we need Ray to shut up someday?"

(They all laugh as Henry goes up the tube, and the scene closes)
