Zoey's P.O.V

It took me two hours to get back home. It wasn't because I was that angry, I just drove really far about an hour away. So when I decided to come back home it took me another hour to get back. I pulled up into my drive way and turned off the engine. I looked at the huge house in front of me it brought back so many good and some bad memories I had here. I was going to miss this place when I go to college next year. I sighed and collected my things and exited the car. I locked the car and walked to the front porch. I was about to look for my keys when the door open. My mother stood there with a smile. But I didn't smile back. Instead I stood there with no expression and stared at her.

"Hey sweetheart, you back later than I thought you would be." My mother greeted me. It was 4'o clock in the afternoon, so the sun will set.

"I think you know the reason." I walked past her and into the house and set the keys down on the table by the door.

"Zoey, honey, wait a minute." My mom followed me.

"What is it mom? What could you possibly say to change that fact that you went behind your own daughter's back and stabbed her?"

"I did not stab you in the back. Just please sit down and let me explain." She gesture to the couch in the living room. I looked at her and then the couch and back at her. I sighed but nodded my head and sat down. "I know you are angry but sweetheart it's not that big of a deal."

"So you support faking dating?"She shook her head."That's basically what you are telling me, mom!" I shouted.

"I don't support fake dating. That is the only part I don't like about this arrangement." I was about to interrupt when she held up her finger."Now before you go and start talking I want you to know that when I decided to agree to this agreement it took quite a lot of convincing."

"What did she say to you?" I referred you Dawn.

"At first she asked for my permission which I denied right away. But then when she mention learning how to deal with people you don't like I began to think about it more. Now I know you will say that you can handle this and that you don't need to prove it, but I don't think you actually can.  And I'm sorry for not having much fate in you about this but I watched you grow up I have seen the problems you dealt with. Not once have I seen you deal with people you didn't like."

"How do you know that? Mom I hate to tell you this but I don't tell you everything." I spoke with annoyance clearly showing.

"Sweetheart, there are only two people you hate. One of those two people moved away. That is not dealing with people you hate. That is called getting lucky." She's got a point. "If you can show me you can deal with Calum, I will get you a car."

"What does this have to do with a car? Is like a reward for dealing with him for a period of time?" This is what confused me, how is fake dating Calum getting me a car? I don't see how these two can related.

"I guess you can think of it like a reward in a way. But I see it as something else. You see getting a car is a lot of responsibility. There is; oil checks, tire checks, getting more fuel, washing car, engine checks, insurance and the list can go on. Now this can relate to dealing with people because people can be annoying, insurance people can be, the mechanics people can be with the bills, and if you get in a car accident, which I hope you don't, you have to deal with them. That’s how I related this with Calum, if you can deal with Calum it shows me you can deal with problems the car can give you. Your hatred for Calum is really deep so if you can show me you can handle that then I know you will be ready. And it is not even just the car other people that you will encounter too." She explained. I guess it made more sense. I mean Dawn tried to explain it but it felt different when my mother had said it. I guess it's because she is my mother and I can't yell back and that I had time to cool off.
