Chapter 21

Zoey

"So," he began. "How are things with you and that fucker?" He asked glancing over to me as he drove. Wearing a black button up shirt with black jeans and sneaker.

I looked up from my phone and smiled to what he referred Calum to, "Not bad, we went on our third date about two weeks ago." I answer.

Zeke made a disgusted face as he kept his right arm stretched out to hold the steering, his left arm's elbow rested on the edge by the window as his hand was near his mouth.

"And when are you going to be done dating him?" He asked.

"I don't know," I said looking outside my window. "I have a feeling I'm going to be with him until prom," I replied as I watched all the cars we were passing by quickly.

"What makes you say that?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes as the thoughts of Dawn and Luke telling me and Calum about our second and third date.

Second Date:

"Okay, so the next date I have planned is totally low key and not a big deal," She spoke with excitement.

"Fuck you," I answered obviously not in a happy mood.

"Chill, I was just going to have you guys go the mall. All you guys have to do is hold hands and stuff and go do your shopping. And don't worry Calum you don't need to buy her crap."

"I wasn't planning to." He rolled his eyes.

"First off, I don't buy crap. And second why the hell would he have to buy my stuff?" I snapped at her

"Because boyfriends do that all the time," She spoke a little frighten by my response.

"Zoey, relax. You will buy your stuff and Calum will buy his own stuff, just stay together the whole time and this will be over in an hour or so." Luke spoke.

"I hate you, Hemmings," Calum stared at his best friend.

"Love you too mate," he said as he put one arm around Dawn. When they both walked away Calum turned to me.

"I'll pick you up at 11, that way no one from school might be there." I nodded before I walked away.

But boy were we wrong, everyone was there and they definitely saw us.

Third Date:

"Fuck you," I said slamming to the locker next to hers. She jumped in shock. "You, sneaky little bitch. You knew everyone was going to be there and you told us to go there."

"What's the point of having you two dating if nobody was going to find out?" She asked innocently.

"I swear I'm going to..."

"I know you hate me right now, but bare with me you guys are doing so well." I roll my eyes at her. I was boiling right now. She knew I want this to be over more than ever.

"How much longer do I have to be with him?" I said maintaining my anger.

"Right on cue, here come the boys." She smiled as she was on her tippy toes to look over me. I turn to see the Luke smiling as Calum look at him pissed until he looked at me and rolled his eyes.

"Hey babe," Luke smiled as he bent down to give his girlfriend a kiss. Calum stood by me and look in any direction but the sight in front of us.
