Chapter 15

Zoey's P.O.V

After the whole kiss situation Zeke tried to finish up with his car and rush to take a shower to clean up. I checked my phone and saw that it was 7:24 and that Zeke really needed to hurry so that we won't be late. I put my phone in my pocket and grab Zeke's phone and started playing games on it since I didn't download any fun games on mines. Once Zeke was ready we got in the car and started the drive to school.  The drive to school wasn't as awkward as I thought it would have been. We completely avoided the kiss and talked about the school's sports team since that was one of the things we had in common.

It wasn't long before we got to school, and the things got quiet real quick. As soon as Zeke parked his car we sat in the car in silence. I'm pretty sure we had the same thought in mind.

"So, are we...?" He started.

"...friends?" I asked unsure if that was the way we were going to go.

He took a bit to answer and it made me really nervous. "Yeah... Sure, best friends." He said before he got out of the car. I followed him right away and before he could get far I grabbed his hand so he would stop walking away.

"We're best friends not strangers." He laughed and nodded his head. We then walked to the entrance like we normally do his arm around my shoulder and once again talking about the sports team.

 When we got near the front Calum was leaning against the building talking to some of his other friends that I never talk to before. He turned his head and saw me coming with Zeke and by the looks of it he said bye to his friends and was heading our way.

Zeke had removed his arm from my shoulder and grabbed my hand and gently but firmly had held it. He tried to pull us towards a different way but Calum had already approached.

"Walking eh?" He gesture to Zeke holding my hand and then to Zeke's car.

"What's it to you, like you care about her." Zeke snapped. I guess he wasn't going to hold back.

"If I have to remind you, she is my girlfriend." Calum said which kind of surprised me. I never thought that he would say that. Ever. I never even thought that I would be able to call him my boyfriend. But then again we aren't really dating. We're just force to date. That's not really dating, right?

"Fake." Zeke snapped back. And then two of then began to bicker.

"Will you guys shut up?" I shouted which got them both to shut up. "I'll see you during lunch." I said to Zeke. He pulled me into a hug which actually last longer than I thought it would until Calum 'cough' to clear his throat.

I waved bye to Zeke and let go of his hand and walked towards Calum. To my shock Calum put his arm around my shoulder and in a way dragged me away from Zeke and into the school.

"What the hell was that about?" I asked annoyed. Firstly he had no right to call me his girlfriend when we are actually not really dating. Second Zeke is my best friend I can have him take me to school if I wanted. Thirdly I'm pretty sure Zeke did nothing to him so I don't understand what got up his ass.

"I don't want him touching my girlfriend." He said moving his arm to my waist and pulling me closer.

"You're not my boyfriend and I'm not your girlfriend." I stated.

"Have you checked your phone?" He asked I shook my head no. He shook his head and sighed and pulled out his phone with his free hand. He unlocked his phone and opened up to his email. "Read." He handed me his phone and I dropped my backpack next to my locker, which we were at, and leaned against my locker. Calum leaned against the locker next to mines.
