Chapter 7: I'm wheeled into a windowless van

That night, I slept good. No dreams this time which was weird. Maybe it was because I was hooked up to about 2 dozen machines. At about 7 in the morning, Belle came into my room and poked me and said, "Morning Gamer. You ready to go to hq?" I gave her a confused look. She muttered "Guess Lucks didn't tell him yet." Guards started packing up the equipment, and Belle wheeled my bed into the back of a Tascorp van. I was still on the bed, and I had to be put to sleep with the gas last night. My movement was not the most graceful. This is why I was still in the bed. Belle sat down in the van and Lucks went shotgun. Lucks said "Good morning Gamer. We're transferring you to Tascorp's main building. Your arm's security is good." I shot him a look. We started back to hq, and Belle booted up a Glitchy Bugs console. This one had an array of games including BattleBlaze, Ultra Jump Mania!, and Tempest among other games. Belle whispered in my ear, "Feel free to play these. Also, Tari told me about your arm's secret." I gave her a confused look. Belle gave me a controller, started swiping on my arm's settings, and pressed the project blue logo. She then inserted the BattleBlaze cartridge into the console. I gasped and my body went limp. When I woke again, I was inside BattleBlaze. Belle and I played a couple rounds of BattleBlaze, and then we arrived. I guess the console was unplugged, because I came out of it with a gasp. Belle looked at me and said "Can you walk?" I shrugged. To answer people's questions, Yes I could walk. All of the medicine had worn off. I was led into the dorm areas. Belle handed me a card that said "guest" on it. She tapped a couple buttons on a keypad, and the door opened. She said "I'll be staying with you during the process with your arm. You'll take the bottom bunk, i'll take the top." I said nothing. A guard came in and put an armband on me. He then handed Belle a tablet, and she pressed a button on it. I felt needles go into my arms. I yelled in surprise, and shoved the guard. Belle said "Geez Gamer, you've got a temper. This is so we can keep track of you. Security reasons." I flopped on the bottom bunk and sighed. "Great. Not only are you hacking my arm, you're also tracking me." Belle laughed. I popped in the Ultra Jump Mania! cartridge and played. After about an hour of play, Belle wheeled a canister over to me. She said "All right, enough gaming. you've got a big day tomorrow." She put the mask on me again, and I said "Can I got to sleep naturally?" Belle shook her head. I layed down, heard the valve turn, and everything went fuzzy. I fell asleep.
