The key turns in the door and it creaks open to reveal Kim and Curt holding a cat carrier with a small ball of fluff inside.
"Here she is!"
Jaime gasps in excitement, fighting the urge to rush over and stroke.
"This is Lucy. She's going upstairs now so we don't overwhelm her."
Curt takes the carrier containing the cowering kitten up to Kim's room, where Linus had been moved out of.
Lucy is to be kept in Kim's room and they would slowly introduce the other residents, starting with Linus. For now, she is being kept nice and secure so she can get adjusted to the room. Curt smiles and strokes her head as she nuzzles in to sleep.
OMG Lucy is too damn cute. Don't we all just instantly fall in love with her?
