Kendall holds Nori as Jaime puts on her long blue coat.
"Is Lauren coming?"
"Lauren isn't but Joey is. He should be down in a second."
"Oh cool."
"Have you seen any of our past shows?"
"I have seen A Very Potter Musical and Firebringer but that's it."
"Those are the good ones." Jaime winks. Joey comes into the small hallway. For a moment, Kendall can't see a dog anywhere but Joey bends down and clips a lead onto a small chihuahua, she spots her.
"Oh hey Kendall. Park?"
"Yep."
They leave the Manor.

"Kendall was just saying she has only seen AVPM and Firebringer."
"Oh god, Firebringer. That was stressful."
"Why? You weren't in it much."
"The company that I co-run with Brian R and Corey L - you won't know Corey - performed a production at the same time. Joe, Lauren and I were doing that at the same time as Firebringer. I know Lauren was very stressed."
"Didn't she have an anxiety attack?"
"Multiple. She hated it. She wasn't in the other one much but she was the choreographer."
"Poor girl."

They continue the walk, stopping by a cafe at the park.
"Kendall, what do you want?"
"Hot chocolate?"
"Sure thing."
Joey goes to order and Jaime turns to me.
"He is so into Lauren."
"Yeah." Kendall agrees, laughing. "No doubt about it."
"I'm pretty sure they are dating. I mean, here's our proof. Lauren always insists on no one walking Diane but her. Yet Joey can. Suspicious."
Kendall watches Diane sleep, all curled up on the spare chair.
"Do you like anyone?"
"I'm married."
"Oh. Sorry I didn't know." Kendall stutters.
"It's fine. His name is Andrew. I miss him when I stay here but I love being around everyone. Do you like anyone?"
"Well, there is this boy at school."
"Spill."
"His name is Josh. He is in most of my classes. Quite quiet, studies. He's popular, really dramatic."
"He sounds perfect."
"Yeah. We've actually dating."
"Ooooo."
"What did I miss?" asks Joey as he brings the drinks over.
"Kendall has a boyfriend." gossips Jaime as she takes her caramel latte.
Kendall blushes.
"It's nothing really."
"It is to you though."
"Come on, let's walk and talk."
Joey slides the tray on top of the bin and takes his black coffee, an order he took from The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. He gently nudges Diane and she jumps down to trot alongside him.
