How...how are couples supposed to act?

Wait? Are they even a couple? They had kissed, but nothing had happened since then. Well, Arlo practically forced Rei to get better by staying over and making sure that the greenette was eating and drinking water. He's also learned about the whole bathroom incident and almost broke into tears imagining the pain he had caused Rei. But Rei assured him everything was okay, and Arlo had gotten to spend some quality time with the other. 

But now that they were at this point, he didn't exactly know what to do. We're they supposed to act more touchy? They had already been pretty clingy to one another before the kiss. Arlo groaned and buried his head behind his menu. A chuckle from the other across him got him to look up though. "Can't decide what to eat?"

Rei was infuriating sometimes. How was he so casual about this! Isn't he worried about messing things up as well? Arlo didn't know about how Reis knees were bouncing up and down at the speed of light under the table though.

They weren't...on a date. They had been here before, in fact, it was the same cheesecake place they'd gone to after the arcade with Remi a few weeks ago. "You know what, I'm gonna try the steak." Arlo announced, feeling brave enough to branch from what he was used to. "Whaaat? Arlo is being courageous? I'm shocked." Arlo rolled his eyes at the greenette but he kept his fond smile on his face. Maybe nothing needed to change between them, people probably already assumed they were a couple anyway. 

"Then I shall get the chicken." Rei hummed setting down his menu. "Though I'm still biased for steak." Arlo rolled his eyes as he sipped on his drink. "Are you in love with it or something?" Rei huffed and crossed his arms. "Yes as a matter a fact, I am. I love it more than anything in this world." Arlo smirked, "more than music?"

"Yep."

"Your guitar?"

"Totally."

"Remi?"

"Absolutely."

"Even more than me?"

"Y-" Arlo let a laugh slip out as Rei stumbled over his words and his face turned bright red. "That's not fair." Rei pouted and Arlo finally full on laughed, his nerves from earlier slowly fading away. "So you admit that you love me huh?" He asked while swirling his straw around his drink and taking a sip. "Pretty sure I admitted that a long time ago." Arlo choked, and quickly grabbed a napkin to cover his mouth while Rei just giggled across from him. The blonde sent a glare his way, his face burning while Rei just smirked, "now we're even."

Across the restaurant, in the same booth as before, Seraphina and Remi sat with their menus over their noses and peered over at the two boys. "So I take it they made up?" Sera asked, "either that or they made out." Remi laughed as Sera scrunched her face up and backed away. "Too much Remi too much." The pinkette scoffed before mentioning how the last time they were here, Seraphina asked her who would top. "Oh yeah..." Sera awkwardly chuckled and scratched her neck.

"So are they dating?" Remi shrugged, "I dunno, Rei hasn't said anything. Tried asking him about it when Arlo was taking a shower last night but Rei hopped up and ran out of the room." Seraphina nodded, "honestly I thought they were dating before all this." The two girls laughed with one another before pulling their menus up against and basically stalking the two boys.

Rei was practically blue in the face from how much he'd been laughing. "It's not funny." Arlo pouted across from him. Though he was doing a terrible job at hiding his smile from the other. The blonde has gotten very animated when he was telling a story and ended up hitting his fork off of his plate, to which it flipped and landing into Rei's drink perfectly. The waitress had been pretty confused on why there was a fork in the glass but she brought a new one back anyway, along with another fork. 

"I'm convinced that every fork on this planet hates me." Arlo huffed as they finally calmed down. Rei was still giggling though, "I dunno, looked like you did a pretty nice trick shot to me. I would almost say you meant to do that." Arlo shrugged, "maybe I did, maybe I'm a lot cooler than you believe me to be." Rei nodded as he narrowed his eyes at Arlo, "oh really, then how came you e never shared your fame and fortune with me?" Arlo smirked, tossing that hair that usually hung in front of his face behind his ear for dramatic effect. "If I told you I'd have to kill you." Rei, in his true dramatic fashion, fell back against his seat and held a hand over his heart. "You're wounded me far beyond believe, now I shall never see you again, for you have betrayed my trust."

Rei made a move to leave his seat but Arlo reached over the table and grabbed his arm. "Not to fast there, I think you've forgotten, but you're tied to me now. There's no way you can ever get passed me." Arlo arched an eyebrow when a mischievous grin spread across Rei's face. "That is not true, for I know your greatest weakness." Arlo hummed, curious about what Rei would say. "And what would that b-"

He was cut off by Rei gently grabbing his chin and bringing the two into a soft kiss. As they parted, Arlo turned a bright shade of red, it didnt help that Rei leaned close to his ear after and whispered, "me" before pulling away and sitting back in his seat. The greenette wore a smug grin as Arlo curled in on himself like a turtle before they continued eating.

Seraphina looked at Remi, Remi looked at Sera. The girls nodded. Rei definitely tops.
